Province of Salerno Hotels with Airport pickup service

My partner and I stayed here for two nights to hike the Path of the Gods and visit Positano/Praiano. We were delighted to be upgraded to a deluxe room with a small terrace. However, the overall hotel experience left several things to be desired. Pros: - beautiful view from the hotel overlooking Positano and Capri of the distance (especially at sunset) - bathroom has a modern finish, room is spacious - private beach club with sea access and rocky beach - Complimentary shuttle service to Praiano in evenings - Reception was very helpful giving us directions to the hike and bus information - Breakfast included made to order coffee (with dairy alternatives) and eggs/omelettes Cons: - we constantly had cigarette smoke wafting in through the bathroom vents at all times of day; it made the bathroom and room stink the whole time we were there - breakfast was lacking in fresh fruit selection (fruit basket was essentially all rotten), although they had many many pastries - had to pay for bottled water - transportation to and from the hotel is very expensive (from Positano, a Water taxi is 40 euros, normal taxi is 60 euros). Note that the normal taxi doesn’t take you into Positano centre due to one-ways and traffic. We were able to take the Amalfi Coast Mobility bus one day but fitting your luggage on this is nearly impossible as it is usually packed. - Also, if you take the water taxi you need to be prepared to fit your suitcases in a tiny boat, and move your luggage up stairs and long paths yourself to get to reception for check in Overall, the views from the hotel are spectacular and the private beach is a nice perk. However, we feel the hotel is ultimately not worth the price and the general inconvenience, if your intention is to visit Positano or the neighbouring towns. You may have a different experience if you drive or if you intend to spend most of the day in the hotel. If we were coming back to this area, we would look into other hotels in the area first.

Very good hotel, the key is that the service is particularly good. If you have any questions before you go to the hotel, you will reply within almost 10 minutes. After arriving at the hotel, all the staff were very polite and felt like they were at home. The hotel's facilities and furnishings both reflect the Italian style and reveal extremely high-end. The hotel's private sea water is on the edge of the rock, there is no beach, but the service is particularly good. I think the quality of the sea water is average.

My husband and I have just returned from a 4 night stay for my 40th birthday. Having previously stayed in Positano the previous year for our honeymoon we opted for Praiano, having previously visited, we love it here. Praiano is simply stunning. Close enough to access the many beautiful sights of the Amalfi coast, also with many things to offer in itself. It hiring a scooter (as we did on both visits) you are in close proximity of many amazing places along this wonderful coastline. Marina de Praia beach is literally in touching distance and there are an array of boat trips on offer from here. The property itself is inviting, rustic and beautiful. The views from the terrace are incredible. The service on hand is very personable. Antonio and every member of the team we encountered were friendly and helpful. They gave us detailed recommendations for every occasion. I was sad to leave here and hope to be back soon. Book a trip here; you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Hotel Maresca ❤️

The pool is large and well maintained. Czech eye needs the cuff. The location I would say quite strategic. In less than 5 minutes in car you reach Palinuro and with 15/20 Camerota Marine. If you have to stay a few days, I'll also advise you for the competitive price. Otherwise let me lose What I didn't like: Old structure without lift. What is reflected in furniture and healthcare. The washing of the bad was not working (it was also lost) and a shower with a soft to change completely; it was impossible to do a shower because it was freezing and then boiling water without a way out.

It is a structure with a paradise location. The stay of one day yet has been a real touch for us. Excellent free parking and excellent wi-fi. The manager is a great friendly and available person. good breakfast. I'm sorry, but I would like to give a counsel to the manager, you have a structure with a very high potential, I would be in you, put a little more order in the courtyards and rooms. I would throw off the broken objects, adjust the walls in the rooms that need them, in practice, I would land the whole structure most ordered because, as I said, it has a huge potential.
