Hotel Posillipo

We had already had the feeling of rudeness over the phone, then the confirmation took place on the spot, with a cold welcome and the first thing we were told was to move the car. We enter the room and the first and only positive thing is the panoramic view. The room is cold and after several attempts to turn on the heating which did not maintain the temperature, we gave up. The hairdryer, as soon as it was turned on, smelled of burning and we asked for another one, which was delivered to us with the usual rudeness. The night was dramatic. We had asked for a quiet area and instead until one in the morning there was such noise as moving people. My partner called the reception who replied "of course, you have the restaurant upstairs" but there were other rooms for us. So much so that we couldn't sleep all night. In the morning we decide to leave this four-star place, but half a star is already a gift. Let's go have breakfast (à la carte?) With old and dried sweet pastries. I went to settle the bill and the gentleman at the front desk didn't say a word of apology, and he never raised his head. Embarrassed and disappointed we ran away from this terrible situation. Unspeakable. Not recommended

Beautiful location, excellent cuisine, shame about the lack of availability of the owner: after we spent two nights, regular customers because we were also last year, had dinner at the restaurant both on Friday evening and Saturday, on Sunday morning he had the rudeness of not not even letting us use the swimming pool for half a day... saying that he had guests arriving and that he didn't want to cause inconvenience... quite simply I won't set foot here again. It's a shame because it doesn't take much to ruin everything...

The fantastic location of this hotel and the view from the rooms certainly overshadow the defects of a structure that needs renovation. Excellent breakfast on the terrace

The management minimizes the presence of cockroaches in the room, insects of various types coming from the park. Lack of attention to detail, I asked for 7 roses, they put 6. Unattended door and excessive price for the quality offered. Very bad experience

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Abundant and delicious breakfast. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, excellent food but a little expensive considering the service provided, in the evening the waiters were not very expert at cleaning the fish and a little noisy. Too bad the pool wasn't heated in winter.
