This beautifully refurbished old building is a pearl in the centre of the old city of Parma. It is within easy walking distance of everything one wishes to experience in this delightful city. The room we chose was spacious and serenely quiet. Linen and towels were changed every day. Most impressive, was the reception desk. Such desks these days, are often manned by nonchalant young people who are more interested in chatting to their colleagues or studying their smartphones than attending to their guests. Here, the receptionists actually stand up as you approach and look you straight in the eye with a welcoming smile and promptly solve your queries in a friendly manner. Vittorio himself, the elegant host, was there to receive us.

The hotel was beautiful, however we were totally sealed in the room and could not breathe. At 3.30am I called reception at 4pm I wandered down to reception and he couldn't get the switch to work for cool air, I asked for a fan or to change rooms or to get a window open but he said no way he could open a window. It was worrying To say the least wandering about in lifts at that time in the middle of the night however at last it went on but at 6.30am the cool air went off again. One thing's for sure we won't be returning to this hotel as we left it exhausted!! The breakfast was plentiful and very nice.

· Very good hotel everything (fast) has passed ... friendly- helpful people ... Great breakfast/ very good dinner large selection / Good room size/ renovated bathroom / good air conditioning /gute Beds .... Something very special two teams of the Ladies Giro d Italia were also on site your great experience also for us Not liked · The only thing that has disturbed us that smoking on the beautiful terrace in the whole area is no longer entirely modern 🤔 for non-smoking sportsmen / Health conscious would be super if the terrace was divided into family with children at the table breakfast ..... and on the direct table next door was smoked strongly . 😟...das we don't find good. ”Passive smoke is just as harmful” However ..when we are back and a place we will certainly like to stay here again .... we have felt well 😂

Una sera, percorrendo l'A1 in direzione nord, mi sono trovato verso mezzanotte ancora lontano dalla mia destinazione; così, dopo una veloce ricerca, ho trovato questo albergo appena fuori dal casello di Parma, ho prenotato su Booking e all'una di notte sono finalmente arrivato; ho trovato alla concierge il signor Alessandro, che è stato gentilissimo. L'hotel è moderno e con un grandissimo parcheggio. La camera era pulita, con un letto di consistenza ottima, e un bagno all'altezza (il box doccia era grande e comodo). Colazione ricca e abbondante, prezzo in linea con i servizi offerti.

I'm giving 5 stars based on what you can reasonably expect for the price. It's well-located for the autostrada having got off the ferry in Bari that morning and driven up through Italy. Our room was spacious, clean and pretty basic - though it did have a refridgerator which was great. Good bathroom and shower. Breakfast was excellent though we didn't have dinner but went to Osteria Imelde 10 mins walk away, which I'd recommend. Dog friendly, plenty of parking and seemed secure. Would certainly stay again.
