This is a fantastic and relaxing agriturismo in a quiet rural location. Maria and Fabrizio are amazing hosts . The breakfast is incredible and you a get a full description every morning of what’s on offer. Our room was lovely and clean. The food that was prepared for us on the Saturday night was really good with 5 or 6 courses. Definitely not to be missed!

We had a wonderful three night stay at Terre di Himera. Maria and Fabrizio made us feel at home. There were many welcoming touches, like fresh lavender in the room and a glass of wine upon arrival. The bathroom is stocked with Maria’s handmade shampoo and shower gel. Each morning’s sumptuous breakfast featured local foods, including Fabrizio’s homemade bread and olive oil from the property. The breakfast items were different each day instead of being a repetition of the previous day’s meal. We also enjoyed the delicious light dinner on two of the three nights. The food and accommodations are all fitting with a high-end agriturismo, yet prices were affordable.

The property is in a beautiful setting - very peaceful. Unfortunately, because it is a working farm, there were a lot of mosquitoes - perhaps citronella candles would help. The property is located up a dark (at night) winding road. If you are looking for a quiet, calm, relaxing stay, this is the place. If you plan to leave the property every day, it would not be a good choice. Can’t say enough of how wonderful Maria and Fabrizio are - very helpful with directions. All of the food served is locally sourced either from the farm, or from another area in the Region. They make their own olive oil, soap, shampoo and body gel.

Lovely agriturismo place. Beautifully renowated farm on the hill. Very friendly owners Maria and Patrizio. They took very good care of us. Good dinner and breakfast. Lovely outdoor space for every room. I loved the place and hope to get there again.

Wonderful b&b in a very rural setting. The hosts, Maria and Patrizio are exceptionally kind and helpful. The food is excellent, both at breakfast and at dinner. Breakfast features lots of cakes and cheeses as well as superb coffee and fruit juices. Dinner features roasted meat, but I think the pasta is the true star. Be sure to sample their locally-made olive oil as it is outstanding. The room we had was good-sized and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The road to the B&B is pitted with potholes so be forewarned. However, if you are looking for a rural place, away from the noise and action of Sicilian cities, Terre di Himera is a very good choice.

Beautiful, remote, clean simple rooms. Fantastic breakfast and completely aamaaaaazzing dinners (we had 2!). Maria (lovely) and Fabrizio (quirky but grew on us) were great hosts. Good wine. Fresh sprigs of lavender and flowers placed artfully everywhere. Not enough plugs (throughout Sicily) and spotty WiFi so go for a walk and enjoy the view! Arrive during the day (and sober) or you might find the unlit drive up to the place difficult.

We stayed for four nights in this lovely farm house and loved every minute of it. Room: We split our time between two double rooms and liked them both. They are spacious, with high ceilings and hewn timber beams. The shower was outstanding. Don't expect luxury (WiFi was spotty, not a lot of outlets, no TV), but if you want luxury don't go to a farm house. Location: Couldn't be more lovely. Gentle rolling hills and sheep grazing, against a backdrop of craggy mountains. Close enough to the main road and restaurants to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet. Hospitality: Maria and Fabrizio are very welcoming and made us feel at home. Fabrizio initially seems a little taciturn, but we ended up liking him very much. They clearly take genuine pride in their house and their food. Food: Oh, the food, the food, the food! We have traveled extensively, and the breakfast here is the best we have ever had. Every day there was a different selection of fresh local delicacies. And you must stay for at least one of Maria's incredible dinners, a multi-course affair which is centered around ingredients they grow themselves and ably explained by the hosts. After a week in Sicily I can say that dinner here was the best dining experience of our trip. So don't hesitate to book here. It's a tad pricey, but worth it, and hey...life is short.

We stayed here our first night after flying into Palermo and were made instantly comfortable. This charming home is quiet and peaceful and surrounded by abundant olive, fig, almond and citrus trees. The biggest surprise was Maria’s homemade dinner. We were treated to a multiple course meal on the lovely patio. My Italian American husband couldn’t believe the flavors that he hadn’t tasted since he was a boy. We tried many upscale restaurants throughout our trip, including several Michelin starred places, but Maria’s dinner was our absolute favorite.

I had a beautiful room and enjoyed every minute spent on the gorgeous terrace or the comfy chairs outside my room.... I only wish I had been able to stay longer. Breakfast was wonderful and so was the hospitality
