Is Cheas Wine Farm Boutique Hotel

My wife and I are seasoned world travelers. We have stayed at a few obscenely expensive places and many very fine hotels and resorts. Is Cheas is now at the top of our list of the best places we have stayed. Three things place this venue above the rest. The first is its incredible people. Every employee was charming, helpful, professional and willing to do whatever it took to make guests happy. The second is the food. I have spent more on dinners than it cost for the room and two meals daily. This place deserves a Michelin Star for the beautiful, creative, fresh delicious meals. Third is the accommodations. We stayed in a private cottage with its own heated pool and patio. I down rated the location since it is not near anything. This could be a major plus for some and a bit of an inconvenience for others. Thank you to all the wonderful people who took such incredible care of us including Paolo and his “ twin brother”.

An oasis with delicious food and wine My son enjoyed our stay in this calm oasis in the middle of nowhere. We actually just stayed put for the two nights and went nowhere. Enjoyed the pool. My son loved playing with the cats. The set dinner included in our stay (a fish and a meat option) was amazing on both evenings and their own wine was very enjoyable. I was disappointed we couldn’t buy any to take home. Would definitely recommend this place and would next time take a trip to the coast as beach is meant to be amazing.

Welcoming and reception were great and hospitable. The pinetta was great and the privacy of our private swimming pool was perfect. Staff at reception and breakfast were very friendly. Our low rating is caused by the dining experience. As there is hardly an option to eat elsewhere we were captive customers. Both the dinner service (and the peculiar arrogant attitude of the head of service during our evenings as regards seating arrangements) and the limited fixed menu were a surprise we did not like at all. On weekdays the menu is either meat and vegetarian or fish and vegetarian. Some days the vegetarian was good, some days is was lacking ambition and volume. The fish menu was okay, the meat menu with e.g. pig as starter and as main, lacked culinary skills or ambition. Serving still frozen elements of a vegatarian dish clarified the sourcing of the ingredients. Breakfast service, in particular Elena, made up quite a lot.

The family room we stayed in and the property itself was extremely lovely for our family of 2 adults and 2 boys (ages 11/7). Both the pool at our room and the main shared pool were a great way to cool off on the hot days of our stay and the service we received from all stay was excellent throughout. In terms of food we couldn’t ask for much more in terms of the adult menus both for breakfast and evening meals although the children’s menus could have been a little more accommodating and were quite restrictive. The property is located close to 2 small, very quiet villages that had basic facilities and the property itself was along a very poor quality road but easy to navigate to. The main challenge we had was that some drinks were included in our board but some were not and this was unexpected and not explained fully from the outset. Yes, I expected to pay for alcoholic drinks throughout our stay, but what I didn’t expect to pay for were hot drinks during breakfast which accounted for a large bill on check out Another challenge was the privacy of our pod, which was very close to the pool area and entrance to the property, it did feel like anyone could walk into our pool area and surrounding space at any point and lacked enough privacy that we were hoping for An enjoyable stay but definitely some watch outs should anyone stay in the future

Very pleasing stay Amazing stay, beautiful nature, very comfortable bed and good food! Service was very friendly.

A beautiful place in the most quiet and calming location, with nothing to do but switch off and relax. The cottages are well appointed and comfortable and having your own pool is great when you want even more peace and quiet. The five course dinner is the star of the stay, a different meal every night that looks and tastes amazing. The vineyards own wine is the only available but luckily both the red and white we tried were very good, as was the cheeky glass (or two) of rose by the pool in the afternoon. The owners and staff go out of their way to make everything perfect and could not have been more welcoming. A superb couple of days stay in the middle of our tour of Sardinia, highly recommended and would definitely go back
