When you offer a proposal like this you can't help but be successful... Ancient structure, surrounded by greenery just a stone's throw from the village.... Attended to down to the smallest details with great taste and expertly managed by Lorenzo.... Impeccable host.... kind, with refined manners, smiling and available for a very pleasant conversation.... Our room boasted great taste in the furnishings, bright despite being in an attic, perfectly clean and very large... At "Contado" I truly felt at home and this is the best compliment I can give.... Another special mention for the breakfast that was organized by Lorenzo according to our tastes and very generous in quantity and quality.... What else to say? Passing through the area we will see each other again without a doubt!!! The road is right, dear Lorenzo, you will receive the success you deserve!

I used the B&B for just one night on a business trip, convenient location outside Modena, very good breakfast, you order in the evening and the fact that there is no buffet limits the choice a bit (this makes the difference between a 5 and a 4 rating). Room with a comfortable bed, clean, spacious and also very beautiful aesthetically. Overall recommended

Il contado is a very nice B&B located in a good position, being a few kilometers from Modena. The room we stayed in was spacious, well furnished and extremely clean and quiet. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is great and plentiful. Definitely recommend!

Arrived at this property by chance, being fully booked in the city center, from now on it will be our point of reference for our Modenese trips. Small cottage located in a strategic area, close but not too much to the center, quiet and intimate. Few rooms but very clean and well-kept. Friendliness and extreme availability. A single report goes to the somewhat poor breakfast, but in times of pandemic, unfortunately, the rich continental buffets no longer exist. My overall judgment is very positive.

Wonderful, a renovated rural structure, elegant but without its essence being distorted. Delicate rooms where nothing is missing and a gigantic bathroom. The breakfast with fresh (and not defrosted) croissants, yoghurt and jams is tailor-made: the choice of the indicative time and the breakfast "menu" the night before allow you to find ready on your table just what we like and we want. You feel pampered because someone thought of you to prepare that table. Moreover, particularly not just, the typical wastes of the buffets are practically zero. Adorable in every aspect, not least the tariff, far more than honest, the Contado in fact gives much more than it asks for! Our daughter (7 years old) has decided she wants to live here… and I can understand her!
