The location was excellent, with views of snow-capped mountains outside the window in April and easy access to nearby trekking courses. It was also nice to take a break with the outside view at the freely accessible underground cafe.

Excellent service. Staff friendly and welcoming. Such a wonderful location. Despite the weather we had a great stay. Food excellent too. Only disappointment was the charge for the spa which seemed pricy. Rooms and views were amazing and look forward to returning in the future

Hotel nestled in the side of mountain before entering Vielha.. Reception area lovely and welcoming and reception staff very friendly and helpful.. Gave excellent suggestion for nearby trip as we checked out Beds are lovely and big in size and very comfy; nice and firm Downstairs lounge area and the main dining area has excellent views; bar waitress was lovely and friendly; we had breakfast and had great range of choices including fresh eggs cooked to your selection; self service different fruit, pastries, bread, cheese and hams and various coffees - my kids loved it if there was anything I could say wasnt as good is that the rooms the furniture is starting to look a little tatty with some chips/broken off veneer bits on desks etc - I guess havent been replaced for a while shame the indoor pool comes with a hefty extra 40€ pp price tag anyway, great place to stay, even for one night you would need to drive into vielha, it doesnt seem that far to walk (and we love walking) but no pavements and no street lights at night time for a lot of the way

Last minute decision to come here on a recommendation. Even though the bedrooms are a bit tired they are very spacious with high quality linen and towels. Had the T bone menu for two which was very good value we thought with excellent service and setting. We will come back again

This is probably my favourite Parador hotel, perhaps my favourite hotel period. With fantastic views, great rooms, a spa and really good food (breakfast and dinner!). But it's not just that. The staff are brilliant, not just the receptionists, but everyone from the cleaners and maids, to the waiters and everyone else who works there.

Do come here for the stunning views, good food and helpful staff. Do not come here for a good night’s sleep! Our bed was so hard we joked that sleeping on the wooden floor would have been a softer option. It also creaked loudly at the slightest movement. We were very glad we only stayed for one night.

This parador is very quiet, although on the road to the tunnel. Great location to visit the Val d'Aran. Short walk into town, bit uphill on the way back to test your stamina. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Spectacular vistas of the surrounding area.

It felt we visited an old forgotten 4 star hotel (unfurbished, not renovated) from 1990. In general the stay was OK but not for the price of over 200 euro for a room without breakfast. There was a promotion to be a member of Paradores and you will get complimentary breakfast. We msunderstood, it was only for 1 night. We thought it was for the whole stay. Nevertheless, the breakfast was excellent and can be recommended. The main restaurant in the evening was a poor experience from a guest perspective. The light was awful, too light and you felt you visited a dining room for elderly people due to the too light solution. The food was tasteless so the kitchen must have forgotten basic spices as salt and peppar.
