We only spent a few days at Quisisana Hotel, but they truly made a lasting impression. While the structure itself is fairly standard, it’s clear that a lot of effort has gone into maintaining and improving it, and that effort shows. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the little touches added up to a very comfortable stay. Location and convenience The hotel has easy access to the beach, which was perfect for quick dips without needing to pack up for the day. One detail I really appreciated was the shaded, reserved parking, a lifesaver during the hot summer days! Evenings full of magic Just down the street, there's a small plaza where locals and guests gather in the evenings. Children play freely, someone might strum a guitar or play soft music, and on one evening we even looked at the moon through a telescope someone had brought. The free beach is also just a short walk away, perfect for a peaceful night swim. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and you're gently reminded how sweet life can be when lived simply. Service that truly sets the bar What truly set this place apart was the service. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed, cherished, and genuinely cared for, something you rarely find even at luxury hotels. Every staff member greeted us with warmth and authenticity. We were introduced by name, which immediately created a personal connection and a sense of accountability that’s often missing in larger hotels. During our stay, one key staff member, the person who normally took care of breakfasts, maintenance, and helped wherever needed, was absent. That role is so central to the flow of a stay, but the team didn’t miss a beat. They worked their hearts out, quietly picking up extra responsibilities without ever letting it show. If we hadn’t been told, we honestly wouldn’t have noticed, and that’s exactly why accountability and teamwork matter so much in hospitality. Everyone stepped up with dedication and grace, and it all came together like a well-directed orchestra. Irina’s attention to detail was impeccable. Young Hamid served us in the restaurant with constant professionalism and a smile that never faded. The kitchen staff, though mostly behind the scenes, were absolutely on point: food came out on time, hot, and perfectly cooked. The food: a whole experience Speaking of food: the restaurant was simply amazing. I grew up in Italy and can honestly say I’ve never had such a delicious pizza in my life. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. One of the reasons it stands out so much is that the ingredients are imported directly from Naples, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The quality, the texture, the depth of flavor… it’s not just restaurant food, it’s a culinary experience. Even our young child loved every meal, and everyone who brought it to our table. A special shoutout We were lucky enough to meet the young owners, Giuseppe and Serena, and they deserve all the praise

Very nice hotel to stay, close to the beach and city centre. Wonderful staff, good breakfast of italian style. Recently refreshed room with air conditioning, good beds, functional bathroom, with only the shower showing a bit of its age. Definitely worth its price.

Don't believe the photos and the positive reviews! We went on holiday to this hotel in September and we’re shocked. Since the management changed (this summer), we can't report anything good. The rooms are dirty, wires are hanging out of the walls and the food is inedible! In mid-September, the kitchen was completely closed and only breakfast was served, which did not deserve the name 'breakfast'. The coffee was watery and there were no fresh rolls/bread. The rest of the breakfast was old/overstocked and the new manager didn't care about anything. On the contrary. On arrival, the first thing they wanted to do was charge us a higher price, even though we had previously signed a binding contract. This also happened to other guests. The bar was always closed, the doors locked and the staff argued loudly in front of the guests. Also interesting: the positive reviews (here and on Facebook) were either written by the new manager personally or by her friends/relatives. (see screenshots from the official Quisisana Facebook page and from the Tripadvisor review of the new manager! She even used the same photos). Unbelievable! What else: the entire complex (also outside) is absolutely unkempt. There is bulky rubbish all around the hotel and there was always cold water in the bathroom. The new management is an absolute disaster. Never again will you get even a cent from us!

We went there for dinner and it was very good. Although we came in after 10pm it was no problem to order. Very friendly people and nice food. We had several dishes and all was amazing. We thought as it was late they offered us drinks afterwards.

Unfortunately, I only found this site a few days ago, otherwise we would have reviewed our disastrous stay sooner. This hotel was owned by the Rocchiccioli family for several decades, and we always enjoyed our holidays there. However, in 2023, the hotel was sold, and after that, the fun was over! The magnificent hospitality and wonderful Tuscan cuisine are history. Upon check-in, the new management informed us that the overnight rates were higher than the prices we had been promised when booking. If we hadn't been able to show all the booking documents printed out (!!!), we would have been charged €20 more per night. You couldn't have imagined anything better! (Other travelers here experienced exactly the same thing, by the way.) Oh, and the kitchen was closed during our stay. Which, in retrospect, is totally fine, when I see the reviews from people who had to eat here when the kitchen was still open.

If we exclude the excellent location, everything else is to be deleted. The part not yet renovated is terrible: stuck in the 70s and neglected, hasty cleaning, non-existent courtesy set but I think the worst part is the kitchen which has always been the strong point of this hotel. Even without considering the cost, this hotel is highly discouraged.
