Stunning location (and sunsets) just back from and overlooking the coast. Beautifully restored masseria blending the old with the new. Simple rooms but with all required amenities, a distinctive and original infinity pool surrounded by a good number of sunbeds. Staff very welcoming, gentle and obliging. Evening restaurant (managed separately) delivers well presented and locally sourced food, oils and drinks - used by locals for special occasions, so tells you all you need to know. All in all, a peaceful hideaway to relax in, with easy access, by car, to Leuca, Torre San Giovanni, and Gallipoli for day trips or alternative dining locations.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was the perfect few days of relaxation during our family trip, set in an authentic and charming Italian farmhouse. The architecture and natural surroundings are simply beautiful, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. When we weren't exploring the nearby beaches, we spent our time unwinding by the pool. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional—special thanks to Barbara and Marina, who were always ready to help with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The on-site restaurant is outstanding. I highly recommend trying the creatively named "This Is Not Paella"—a unique and delicious take on the classic dish that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Barbara, Aldo & Matteo and our 2 servers couldn’t have been nicer. Food was amazing and Matteo went out of his way to prepare us some excellent meals. First class service and a beautiful property. Highly recommended

Very beautiful property on a hill with views over the sea. Excellent dinner and well-balanced breakfast buffet (no milk). The grounds are large and well-maintained, with lovely rooms that could use some renovation. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and Barbara, in particular, was fantastic! The Wi-Fi in the room was inadequate. In the evening and morning, I was "eaten alive" by mosquitoes in the breakfast room. Measures should be taken to control the mosquitoes here!

The most stunning property with beautiful views. The staff is kind and very accommodating. The breakfast spread was wonderful and the restaurant was excellent for dinner - fairly priced for fine dining experience. Parking available on site, and staff speaks English. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay that we would highly recommend.

I recently stayed at Masseria Samenti, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. The room itself was furnished with bland, basic, and cheap-quality furniture. The towels, linens, and bed were all of similarly poor quality, making the stay uncomfortable and far from what I expected.
The hotel's remote location left us with nothing to do around the property. It’s isolated, with no nearby attractions or activities to enjoy, making the stay feel even more monotonous. To top it off, the breakfast was terrible—low-quality food that didn't taste fresh. Unfortunately, this lackluster quality extended to all the meals we had during our stay.
What made the experience even worse was the hotel's no-refund policy. Despite my major dissatisfaction with the stay, I was refused a refund or any form of compensation. This rigid policy, combined with the low standards of the hotel, makes me regret choosing Masseria Samenti for my vacation. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality stay.

A very nice Masseria
We had 2 fantastic days here. Barbara and all staff were very friendly and gave us every attention during our stay. The Masseria has everything you need to relax. Nice pool, food and wine as in a star restaurant. We will come here again, Susanne&Peter

Just amazing
We have been in Italy more than 10 times and in Salento 6 times and this was the best stay by far. Everyhing was just top notch. We really hope that we can come back next summer.
