A superb small hotel, beautifully designed and set in magnificent grounds. Valentina is a wonderful host and her staff are a credit to her. If you want a luxurious base to explore this part of Puglia, look no further. We stayed in the Salice family suite - combination of the Ulivo and Loto rooms. Perfect for our family of 4. Valentina recommended beaches and restaurants and looked after us royally. We loved the pool and the poolside bar - 5 star facilities and service.

This is a beautifully renovated and quiet small hotel in the Puglian countryside a short drive from Parabita. We were very comfortable in a ground floor Melongrano room. Breakfast was excellent and the service warm and helpful. Beautiful pool. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel but Valentina, the owner, was on hand to help with recommendations and reservations.

This is a beautiful hotel, peaceful and absolutely 5-star in terms of facilities and service. Everything is of high quality and the staff were superb. The attention to detail is excellent and I would like to thank Valentina for recommending and booking restaurants for us and organising a lovely boat trip.

Wow!! What an incredible hotel and a wonderful place. I’ve stayed a a few hotels this year including the incredible le Bristol in Paris and this has to be the most enjoyable. The hotel is really quite faultless, from Valentina’s communication prior to arrival, the wonderful staff, the interior design and the serenity of the whole place, all amazing. I often use Mr and Mrs Smith a reference for boutique hotels, they’ve rarely let me down and this again was quite the find. Don’t be confused about the lack of trip advisor reviews currently (a lot more on google) or the extremely well priced rates, the hotel is only in its second season, it’s still relatively undiscovered but a real hidden gem.( I’m not sure it will stay hidden for long!!) Valentina was not only a great host but even when we were out and needed some guidance/tips we could watts app her and she’d reply very quickly. Her renovation of the whole hotel is stunning and you can tell by her customer service that she’s worked in some of Italy’s best hotels prior. It was great also to be able to have lunch by the pool and cocktails/drinks until 7pm, all of which were very well priced and delicious. If you’re planning on staying in the area then don’t think twice as you won’t be disappointed !!

We stayed at Il Giardino Grande for 3 nights very recently, and I can honestly say that it’s one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The building, pool, the room itself and the surroundings are stunning and the food and drinks was some of the best I’ve tasted in Puglia. Valentina and her staff so attentive and welcoming, and always on hand to give recommendations for restaurants and excursions, helping us to book bus tickets and they also remembered the finest details (like how I like my coffee!), ensuring we had the best stay possible. I’d definitely recommend this to friends and family

Had an excellent stay at Il Giardino. The owner Valentina and her staff have done a great job of creating a lovely and friendly hotel, that will no doubt continue to very popular in the future as the new hotel establishes itself further. Valentina was extremely knowledgeable of the local area and very helpful in providing suggestions and making recommendations/reservations. We stayed in the Ciliegio room which was definitely worth the extra cost, as it had a large and very private terrace. Great place to relax at and well located to explore the local area. Would definitely recommend to friends.

A simply perfect week! The hotel is very well located in a quiet area inland, a few minutes from Gallipoli. The building has been completely renovated with great taste and has only 6 rooms. The huge park around with 200 olive trees gives an incredible charm to the place. A gigantic swimming pool in the middle of olive trees (18m!) with incredible service all day long allows you to have lunch or drink cocktails. Breakfast included with fresh and delicious local products, and very well made dishes on request. The hostess of the place Valentina, whom we thank infinitely for her advice, her professionalism and her platinum concierge service, showed us the places to visit (small local gems) but also was able to recommend restaurants that perfectly suited what we wanted. wanted at every dinner (from Gallipoli to Otranto via SM de Leuca!). We will definitely come back next year!

I stayed with my team in this enchanting home in Parabita, unfortunately not for pleasure but for work because we would have liked to be able to enjoy the swimming pool and the peace of this place more and instead we were only able to do so in the afternoon of the last day. The welcome was very warm and attentive. The rooms are beautiful, with designer furnishings and well-thought-out details. I slept in the pomegranate suite, large with a really spacious and comfortable bathroom. Breakfast for 10, with both buffet and a la carte service. I loved the concept of the home, feeling at home away from home, with the services of a luxury hotel at the same time. The atmosphere was special and returning after many hours of work (we organize weddings) to this oasis of peace and tranquility was particularly appreciated by us! Also recommended for romantic getaways and wedding organization for up to 100 people. We will be back! Thanks to Valentina, the landlady and all her staff for the attention and care towards us
