Our recent stay at Masseria Celentano in San Severo was deeply disappointing due to serious mismanagement and poor customer service. We had meticulously planned our visit for our Sisters Wedding, booking 6 bedrooms for the first night, 7 for the second, and 8 for the third, making our requirements very clear well in advance. However, upon arrival, we discovered that two of our reserved rooms had been mistakenly allocated to other guests. This error caused significant disruption to our plans and led to a frustrating and exhausting ordeal. We spent over two hours arguing with the staff, who seemed unprepared to resolve the situation efficiently or professionally. Instead of offering a prompt solution or a sincere apology, the staff were defensive and unhelpful, which only added to our frustration. The lack of accountability and the unwillingness to take responsibility for their mistake left us feeling unwelcome and undervalued as guests.. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a stressful and disappointing experience. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Masseria Celentano to anyone seeking reliable service or a hassle-free stay. Their inability to manage reservations properly and their poor handling of customer complaints are unacceptable for an establishment of this kind. It’s a shame, as the property itself is beautiful, but the service completely overshadowed its positive aspects.
