Location not far from the center with well-distributed bungalows (every has its parking and outdoor garden where to sit) Clean and well furnished rooms. You eat very well at the hot table that is part of the complex .. there is not much choice but the food is very good and is at a good price.. The Vegan brioches are wonderful!
Orchidea Selvatica B&B

We spent two nights in this small b&b and we found ourselves very well, Mr. Roberto is a person with a unique, kind and careful availability, he made us feel at home and ready to recommend cantines and restaurants, Friday evening arrived After 20:00, he called a nearby restaurant to have dinner! Unfortunately, because of our time, we failed to try everything he suggested, cantines and farms, hope the next time! Mrs. Daniela has delicious us with typical, simple but fresh and wonderful sweets! The clean and warm room, the full bathroom of everything needed! We couldn't ask anything more! We'll certainly come back again! Thank you, Mr. Roberto!

We’ve stayed at 10 hotels on our journey through Germany, France, Italy and Austria. Your’s was the only one that didn’t accept our dog (small poodle) in the restaurant. Extra remarkable as you charge a dog fee! Otherwise a nice hotel with very friendly staff!

I appreciated almost everything...placement, almost in the heart of Alba center and pedestrian area, possibility of internal parking, cleaning and comfort of the room, breakfast and above all the excellent price quality ratio. To try.
Castello Rosso

This was my second stay in this hotel The first time was two years ago in the annex but it made me want to come back especially for the pool. This time I came with my family and I booked two Deluxe rooms with Booking. This stay turned out to be very poor. The first morning at 07:30 the cleaning ladies chatted for an hour in the hallway at the door of our rooms without it being possible to silence them even by notifying the reception. Then the cutlery for breakfast was not clean, in particular a very dirty spoon, which a child would not have placed on a clean table and then the next day a chipped glass. Then I did not appreciate the sticky tables at the rear of the garden, uncleaned, the unsightly presence of a basin of stagnant water in this same place which naturally attracts the mosquitoes which devour your ankles, the garbage can in the parking lot which overflows and the grimy underside of the bathroom soap dish. I gave a letter of complaint the first morning at reception, it never had the slightest echo. The management is absent and the reception inoperative. On my return I made an unappreciative comment on Booking which only generated an artificial intelligence message. Although the place is magnificent, the garden well-kept and the swimming pool always very pleasant it is necessary to reckon with a difficult access in the last very narrow roads to the castle where it is better not to cross another vehicle. Finally the breakfast is delicious and its staff friendly, but this is not the case with the management who does not take into account or repair the inconvenience suffered in a so-called 4 star establishment. I cannot recommend this hotel and won’t return.
Casa di Langa

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this property. Pros: This might be the best located property in Roero/Langhe. What makes it so special are the beautiful views of Serralunga d' Alba in the distance and the beautiful green valley and vineyards in the forefront with no development obscuring the bucolic beauty. We also loved the views from a hilltop restaurant in La Morra but below us were many villages- also attractive but not as secluded and special as the Casa's location. The town of Alba was super unappealing and unattractive to us- I would steer clear of it. Cherasco had a dour beauty. Casa di Langa is very peaceful and quiet- a few animals can be heard in the distance at night and some roosters crowing in the morning. Night time lighting is also ideal and low as to not obscure the night sky. Sound insulation within the rooms is excellent. The room was slightly too warm for us: 72.4 F but by calling the front desk we were able to get an override on the thermostat- apparently remotely controlled. Very well staffed with pleasant and helpful concierges, parking valets, restaurant staff and twice daily maid service. Lobby and bar decor are very nice. Huge outdoor (partially covered) patio space just off the lobby with lots of comfortable seating. My husband really enjoyed his wine tasting class. The bath products and bed linens are very nice. Cons: despite getting a ”deluxe” category room with excellent views, our room was simply too small- it was about the size of our last cruise ship cabin. I don't think we will return but if we did, I would carefully scrutinize photos of the suites to see if they are an improvement. The covered patio for our room was large and initially I wondered why it was so big and the room was so small but then I realized the afternoon sun is so intense that the architects must've factored that in to the design. On our patio were two basic upright chairs which need to be replaced with something more comfortable and relaxed. The mattress, although comfortable, was a bit low to the ground for oldsters like us. The bath area was also smallish. There was only one low slung comfortable chair in the room and an upright desk chair which scraped loudly on the brick floor. Breakfast was excellent and well staffed although the outdoor tables, when weather is perfect, should be set and ready for guests who all want to go outside instead of trying to steer them to the inside. Our room was located above the restaurant and people dining outside in the morning were not an issue for us at all - even when we were outside on our patio. Faula restaurant- I'm sure the chef is talented and I would like to eat what he makes for himself or his family on his days off. We generally dislike Michelin type starred restaurants and found this one typically off putting. Too experimental- simpler is often better. Why the gimmick of presenting a few rice crackers on top of a bowl of rocks? What's the point? If you decide to stay here and have a car- don't
