The Hotel is located in a beautiful area with superb views. Very good restaurant, with good choices for vegetarians. Nice architecture and garden / pool area. The staff was very friendly. The Concept of a sustainable 5 star hotel is great. .

Beautiful quiet retreat in the hills among the vineyards. Half hour into Alba. Rooms are beautifully designed, Scandinavian, Asian minimalist inspired but cozy and luxurious. Staff are gracious, proactive, helpful but discreet. Restaurant is bright and has a lovely vista. Own herb and vegetable path. Generous breakfast selection. Dinner delicious.

Casa di Langa offers modern & beautiful design, excellent cuisine, and nice spa services. During our 4-night stay, we appreciated the friendly staff in the spa and restaurant, and enjoyed a great dinner and massages. However, these positives were overshadowed by a distressing incident and the hotel's inadequate response. On the second day of our stay, jewelry was stolen from our room while we were at the spa, despite us never having left the hotel premises since our arrival. The theft of personal items from a guest room is absolutely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone a 5-star establishment where one expects the highest standards of security and trustworthiness. What's even more disappointing is the hotel's inadequate response to this incident. They apologized to us and merely promised to "talk to the staff" and thoroughly search the room, which led nowhere. Despite the presence of security cameras, no thorough investigation seemed to be conducted on their end, which forced us to file a police report, while the hotel offered no reimbursement or meaningful gesture of goodwill. We left with the feeling that the hotel didn't fully believe us. Six weeks have passed since the incident, and despite our regular inquiries, Casa di Langa has provided no updates on their investigation or measures taken to prevent future thefts. The management's poor handling of this situation reflects a serious deficiency in their commitment to guest satisfaction and hospitality.  While Casa di Langa has potential as a luxury destination, the theft and subsequent mishandling of the situation severely impacted our experience. For a 5-star establishment, the lack of robust security measures and inadequate crisis management raise serious concerns. Potential guests should take these concerns into account when considering a stay at Casa di Langa, as the lack of security for personal belongings significantly undermines the hotel's otherwise attractive features and the promise of a relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Casa di Langa. The hotel and its surroundings were surprisingly beautiful and stunning. The room was tastefully designed, very spacious, and had two large double beds, perfect for my family of three. The bathroom was huge and exceptionally clean. We dined at the hotel restaurant throughout our stay, and the food was fantastic. I enjoyed the walk in the nearby woods very much, and the scenery was amazing. This was truly one of my most unforgettable trips. I would love to return to stay and enjoy Piemonte next time!

The only reason I gave this hotel 2 stars instead of 1, is because I was traveling with a 14 month old baby that was sick, and I know that part of my negative experience was that. I will also qualify this by saying that we went there on the recommendation of our group's travel agent, so I assume other people have had positive experiences. The big positive of the hotel is that it is set on a beautiful hill overlooking a valley amid vineyards and hazelnut groves, where you can see the Alps in the distance. Absolutely a stunning view. Now the negative... 1. We had originally booked a suite, but something with the sliding doors must not have been able to seal properly, so our suite was open to the stink bugs. Apparently late October is typically when stink bug season starts, but this year early rains brought them early, and so we went into the room to find a couple dozen stink bugs in our room. We told the hotel and at first, it was as though they didn't believe us. Like we jsut had our door open and were upset they were coming inside. Rather than the fact that the door just didnt work to keep them out. Eventually the hotel came to remove the bugs, but within minutes there were at least a dozen more. I dealt with them that time, and minutes later at least a dozen more. We wouldn't have wanted to deal with a room that couldn't seal out bugs at a motel 6 and definitely not at a hotel room where basic rooms are more than 600 euros on a weeknight. We asked to switch rooms and they switched us to the only room that they had available. which was one of their basic rooms. It was a shoebox of a room that really could not accommodate a crib. We had to place it in the hall just inside the door so we squeezed through between the crib and the wall to get to room (btw, the crib was 50 euros per night). The room was so small that the bed takes up almost the whole space and there was essentially no room for our baby to play on the floor. The hotel continued to act as though this was not a major inconvenience, but did eventually send a bottle of wine to our room as an apology after the travel agency complained to them. We were dealing with a sick baby so we never even drank it. I will say that the rooms came with beautiful balconies that were a major part of the space of the room. However, even if the door was working they were so full of stink bugs that they were essentially unusable. This wouldn't have been true if stinkbug season had come later or we had come earlier, and this would have made the rooms much nicer. 2. Part of the appeal of the hotel is the location, but it has a major downside. It is isolated enough that you can't get a cab so any plans need to be made in advance and getting a car to take you down the hill will be 200 euros. So you can't do anything impromptu. 3. Dealing with a sick baby and only one restaurant on site that is pretty fancy and slow, not ideal for a baby, I was ordering a lot of room service. I found the ro

Peaceful. Quiet. Beautiful views. Kind staff. Lovely small spa. Truffle hunt was a unique experience, as was the wine tasting in their cellar. My only real "complaint" would be the air conditioning, it never properly cooled the room, and every day it would reset to 22*, despite keeping it set at the lowest possible temperature and the highest speed. I called and asked to have it reset daily, staff couldn't understand why, I really shouldn't be questioned if I want my room cooler. I would still return, as this hotel offers a much more comfortable and modern stay than its older competitors in the area, just don't come when it's hot, and you will love your time here!
