We just stayed at the Villa Maria Hotel & Spa for 1 night and had a great experience. It was the first time ever being in Francavilla al Mare and we are so happy that we chose this place. The location was great as we were without a car. The taxi ride to and from the Pescara train station was only 10 minutes. Also, we enjoy walking. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach in Francavilla al Mare and all of the restaurants, shops there—very easy to do. The room was clean, very spacious and I do recommend a view of the water—absolutely incredible. We loved our balcony. The property itself is very hidden and quiet. The hotel is very nice, kept very well and the breakfast was delicious. The entire staff at the Villa Maria is very accommodating and attentive to our every need—thank you to everyone working there! Upon our return to that area, we will definitely stay at the Villa Maria Hotel again. I highly recommend!

I was traveling alone to meet some friends in the area and someone suggested to visit a recently opened hotel. It is situated in the historic old town, I could see some very old buidings from the balcony. This hotel has just five rooms, all different, decorated in Linberty style, as the building is from that period. Even of the window was to the mail square, even a bar underneath, I could not hear a thing during the night. The reason might be the time of covid and in October and not many people out but the door to the balcony was also new and thick. The bathroom was spacious and as I had forgotten my shampoo the hotel provided quality stuff. Efficient hair dryer, and I was quickly out to see my friends. The hotel brought breakfast to the room on a tray. I could just stay in the bathrope provided as I was not in a rush in the morning checking out.

Staff was very courteous, friendly and kind. Very nice and cozy place. Room is very spacious and bathroom is comfortable enough for two people. Mini fridge with water kettle, cups and tea bags available. Here’s the only “complaint” I have and the reason why I only gave 3/5 stars in cleanliness as they were not cleaned and refreshed from the previous guests staying in the room. The cups were used and dirty and empty water bottles were left in the fridge. Not an issue for us but it might be for other guests. Other than that the room and bathroom were very cleaned and well kept. The breakfast is very typical to the region (sweet pastries, toasts, coffee and juices). Would definitely stay again.

Fully satisfactory hotel from all points of view: convenient parking behind the hotel, elegant and well-kept rooms, sufficiently spacious room with a fantastic balcony facing the sea, superlative breakfast, with an unprecedented choice of cakes and excellent restaurant. Very friendly staff, both at reception and in the restaurant. It balances and makes up for everything the area doesn't offer in terms of seafront and clubs, which are practically non-existent out of season

Location in the green in the middle of the countryside, very quiet and quiet place with a large parking near the rooms. The hotel was very clean, I found a hotel where all the clothes were changed every day and the room was perfectly clean from top to bottom. Medium prices and menus with land products, good quality.
