The hotel is in a residential area which is usually very quiet with the exception of a few neighbors dogs that bark quite a bit. My room was very comfortable with a kitchen and living room. The 2 pools are beautiful. The service is wonderful. I'd love to see lounge chairs on the roof, it's a beautiful view. The breakfast is plenty to start the day. The gelato is amazing. Air conditioning worked very well. I'd highly recommend.

Stayed for a week. Good points .Very Friendly and Helpful Staff .Excellent food in the restaurant and a big thank you Andrea who was extra helpful and kind .Good breakfast selection We upgraded to a suite (301) and the suite was beautiful with views of the ocean and Etna Not so good points requiring attention WiFi was terrible and very erratic or non existent yet worked fine in the common areas of the hotel.Remarked to reception three times without any result Upon arrival we we shown our room and the receptionist was very pleased to show that we had a small kitchen We had no particular desire to cook food but had we done so there were 2 odd plates , one knife, two forks and a teaspoon. No wine glasses no Champagne flutes (celebrations ) and no cups or kettle (we bought one )for a cup of tea in the morning. We booked the hotel restaurant (excellent) through The Fork and for each night of our stay were offered a 20% discount. We were encouraged by the hotel to cancel and book directly with them We did so and received a 10% discount ! Bizarre. Resident 10% non residents via the Fork 20% ! We pointed this out to reception to be told that the hotel does not give the full 20% discount on drinks only food whereas the hotels 10% is on everything. I think we can all do the maths on that one ! The hotel is very isolated and there is no way to stay there without a car

Excellent holiday. Booked with TUI and flight was with Easy Jet from Luton. Flights both ways were excellent. Taxi from airport to hotel was very bad indeed and had to complain to TUI who sorted this out for us to our satisfaction and made sure the taxi on the return journey to the airport was better and it certainly was. Regarding the hotel then this was really good. The rooms were very good and clean -- cleaning staff were excellent and very friendly. The food in the hotel was first class, we had half board and it was an excellent decision. The head waiter was great along with the rest of the staff working in the restaurant so well done to them all in making our meals most enjoyable. The reception staff, special mention for Raffaele who was really helpful on local issues and places to visit, were first class in everything they did for us. Would certainly return in the future. Slight down side, and the hotel is not to blame for this, but some people liked to smoke and didn't really care about other people around them which I found quite selfish of them.

Let's get the bad bits sorted first . Taxi driver overcharged us from the airport (so don't use the taxi service) That's nothing to do with this fab hotel . Friendly staff throughout the hotel which made the stay really enjoyable. The crooked part of the breakfast was a little boring .day after day the same thing . The cakes and pastries however are really good and mixed with the cappuccino it was well worth getting up for . Rooms are cleaned every day and are spotless.( I was in room 104. The new part of the hotel). The lady that looked after our room did a fantastic job . The rooftop hide away is amazing for a nice relaxing evening looking at the views over the coast and of ETNA. The pool area is really nice. Quiet and clean . The food service for dinner is just amazing and the food was the best we had throughout the stay . That's about it . Thank you so much for a lovely relaxing time ❤️

What I liked: - The hotel boasts two lovely pools. - The on-site restaurant serves some of the best food I've had in the area, though it is pricey. - Breakfast is simple yet delicious, featuring eggs, frankfurts, bacon, cheese, pastries, fruit, juices, and wonderful coffee. - You are allowed to enjoy drinks by the pool. - 90% of the staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. - Free parking is available on site. What I disliked: - The room's air conditioning was not adjustable and only blew in one direction, making both the bathroom and bedroom uncomfortably warm. - I had to sleep on the pullout sofa as the bedroom was too hot. Thankfully, the sofa was available; otherwise, I don't know what I would have done. - The spa seemed expensive for a hot tub and sauna, so I didn't use it and can't comment on its quality. - There is an incredible rooftop with views of the bay and Mt. Etna that goes unused, which feels like a wasted space. - The location is very remote, situated in a residential area with nothing within walking distance except for two restaurants and a golf club affiliated with the hotel. - While you can walk to the bay, there are no pathways and the return trip is steep and uphill. - The hotel provides taxis, but they are quite costly. - There is an extra charge to use the kitchenette, which was not communicated beforehand. Additionally, no tea or coffee replacements were provided, which is unusual for a hotel of this caliber. **Tips:** - If you are checking in past 10:30 PM, be sure to call the hotel to ensure someone will be available to check you in. - Renting a car is essential for getting around, as without one, your travel options will be limited and expensive. - This hotel is perfect if you want to relax by the pool and do occasional excursions. However, if you're looking for more activities, you may find the location too remote.

Just checked out from a one night stay and wish we had longer. Absolutely beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with stunning sea views. Spotlessly clean and staff so welcoming. Had dinner at the restaurant last night which was magnificent. We have just finished a tour of Sicily and needed a one night stay before flying out this afternoon. Although it was about a 30 minute taxi ride from Catania, it was a perfect way to wind down before the next leg ☺️

I have no idea how this is so well rated. Spa doesn’t seem to exist, never saw it the whole time we were there, rooms are nice, location is horrible, nothing in walking distance at all, just a supermarket, it’s next to a busy road and in a residential area so dogs bark constantly day and night. There were lots of children rendering the small pool area unusable. There are restyling at the bottom of a very steep hill, probably a 25 minute walk down and a very gruelling walk back which is completely up hill all the way. Breakfast is the exact same small but tasty selection every day, if you want omelette or pancakes made it’s a hidden extra charge, got stung for €32 on checkout even though I booked bed and breakfast. GET A HIRE CAR or it’ll be a nightmare, we went to the airport and got one on day 3.
