He chastised us for sitting down and for serving us free Prosecco even though we said we would pay for it. It was a managers reception and we did not know that walking in. Unwelcoming and don’t go into this hotel if you are not a hotel guests. The bar was empty and he literally told us “YOU ARE NOT HOTEL guests here. My New York City travel agent will love this feedback. Paolo is doing this hotel a complete disgrace disservice.

This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We fell in love with this hotel in a visit during the summer and had to stay again, this time in October to see the larches in fall colors. There is so much attention to detail in the interior, service, amenities and food! All the staff were so welcoming and kind! The food deserves a particular mention. The half board is an incredible value for the quality - the dinners we have had here are among the best we’ve had in our entire lives. We cannot wait to return as soon as we can to see the rebrand and hope it’s every bit as magical on our third visit.
