I honestly thought a lot about how to approach this review, because if it is true that each structure should be evaluated in relation to the price (in this case high and therefore with a certain number of expectations) it is also true that in the area this structure offers competitive prices. For 170 euros per night with a last-minute booking, I stayed two nights half board with my son to spend three days in the snow. The location of the hotel is as anonymous as it is "tactical", it is located along a road surrounded by woods and has no visual contact with Livinallongo given that it is located about ten minutes from the town; the advantage is that in 20/25 minutes you can reach Arabba, La Villa and Pian Falzarego in even less time. Externally it is one of the many white buildings with wooden parts, internally essential apart from the two beautiful Stubes which make the climate in the bar and in the lounge very comfortable where there are tables for breakfast/lunch, rooms partly with paneling on the walls and the wood on the ceiling, few frills and choices of dubious taste such as the fake ivy attached to the ceiling with (white) adhesive tape. The welcome from the owner is certainly positive, always kind and helpful, the atmosphere is familiar and relaxed, the pleasant smells typical of home. The room that was offered to us had more than enough space for two with even a sofa bed, the climate as soon as we entered was tropical (thanks to the fact that it is located between two other rooms and that outside there were never less 5 degrees) so much so that we had to open the door onto the terrace. The bathroom is also large enough with a shower cubicle of the right size; unfortunately, but it's not a drama, before getting the hot water you have to wait several minutes with the tap open but once it arrives there are no problems. However, it is quite strange that in the box there is nothing to place a bottle, a bar of soap etc. In fact, there are holes for the plugs but the accessory that can be bought for 99 cents in a Chinese shop is missing. The two single beds came with only a duvet, without a sheet and the mattresses were rather flaccid so much so that when you turned over during the night you could actually feel the mattress giving way laterally (and I don't weigh 60 kg); the pillow is really too bulky and uncomfortable. As soon as we checked in we were asked to choose between two first courses and two second courses for dinner, the menu is essential and this confirms what we read on the sign outside, that is, that in this period the staff is not present and I imagine that the owners make do; the first evening we had tagliatelle with meat sauce or minestrone and speck or pork shank, the second evening mushroom soup or gnocchi, braised meat or something else that I don't remember. To conclude the dessert which we did not take and water included. Honestly, while appreciating the fact that the food tasted like it was cooked in
