If you want an authentic, cosy Italian stay, this is your place. The grounds are beautiful. The room we stayed in was authentic and designed by the owners Nonna (grandmother). Nik couldn’t do enough to help us. He was helpful and attentive. Thank you so much. We would love to come back in late Summer/early autumn.

Amazing place - very calm, wonderful park and great pool, absolutely clean and no busy at any time of the day. Great breakfast with fresh food and nice rooms, family run business with great wine, beer and oil available for purchase on-site. We have enjoyed our relaxed week very much!

We had a wonderful peaceful 8 days staying here. We used it as a base from which to explore Tuscany. Nicola worked hard to make us feel really welcome, he gave us some good recommendations of places to eat as there wasn’t a restaurant on site as we were visiting in the low season. I understand there is a restaurant opening for the summer season. Most afternoons we had the pool and beautiful views to ourselves. There was a wedding one evening which was quite loud but ear plugs did block out the noise when we went to bed. We were warned that there were wedding held here before booking so we were prepared. The track to the b&b from the road is a bit rough but our little Fiat 500 1 ltr coped with it ok. I would stay again.

What a beautiful location! Ideally situated to visit all areas across Tuscany/Chianti region. We took a road trip to Siena and San Gimignano, and a train from Montevarchi to Florence. Parking was easy to find both on the trips and also at the train station. Train wasn’t too expensive and we bought a same day return at the station. Everything was so clean, and extremely efficient. We took the scenic route on the way to Florence and the fast track for the return journey. At the accommodation Nico was extremely welcoming and was always available to answer the “tourist” questions. Nothing was too much trouble…. Breakfast was simple yet very moreish with the most delightful pastries! It was also very intimate with the ability to catch up with other guests regarding their experiences and recommendations. We would wholeheartedly recommend if you opt to self drive. We will definitely return!

We had a very nice stay at Campiglioni, Nico and his family. We were there for two days and highly recommend it. The place is beautiful with a family atmosphere. We sure hope that Nico and his family can get their own restaurant going ASAP!

We had an excellent stay here. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The accommodation was well appointed and very comfortable - by far the best shower I've ever had in any hotel ever! It would have been perfect. Just two small issues. We were not familiar with the area and were hoping for some advice from the hotel. I don't know where the regular staff were but we were greeted by a very pleasant young woman who appeared to know very little and didn't seem to have any information either. She couldn't tell us anything about the hotel or local area. We had vouchers for a wine tour as part of our booking but she couldn't even tell us if we needed to book our visit or not. She was the only staff member present during our 3 night stay so we had to fend for ourselves completely. Fortunately, the WIFI is excellent. Also, we were told days before our arrival, in spite of having booked weeks ahead, that the restaurant would be closed during our stay. The closest restaurant is a 10 minute drive away but down a curvy, hilly, and quite potholed unpaved road so it meant we had to go out every evening after a long day of 'touristing' with some challenging driving. We did find some amazing local restaurants though. It might also have been easier had the staff been able to provide some advice. Although unfortunate, we did not let these two setbacks spoil our trip. We still had a wonderful time. I would recommend it, particularly in high season when the pools and restaurant are open and, I would assume, the regular staff are in place.
