Tsokkos Protaras Beach Hotel

Well where do I start absolutely filthy food probably the worst I’ve ever had in a all inclusive, just terrible so bad we actually laughed about it and staff sooooo rude and miserable and considering we paid the same last month for marmaris we defo won’t be returning here, we still enjoyed Cyprus just wish we booked b and b elsewhere

This was a Jet2 14-day all inclusive package. Room - We were provided a newly refurbished room. The room itself was modern and did have enough sufficient storage space for 2 people. However, it lacked some coat hangers to allow us to hang our evening outfits onto the new installed hanging area. The twin room consisted of 2 single beds pushed together. They only had 1 pillow each, of what i would describe as being thin and flimsy. There was no other pillows in the room, and we found ourselves having to prop up our pillows to support our necks, and we ended up going home with pulled necks and backs from the discomfort. On day 1, the room itself was clean and tidy. However the “fresh” bedding had some unusual stains on. Out of the 2 beds, only 1 set of bedding was changed the entire 2 weeks. However bedding was made, and floor was mopped every day. There was a beautiful view of the pool area, and it had a side sea view which made the room worth while. We also got the WiFi and a safe included in the package which was ideal. Location - The location itself is excellent. It is located between the beach, and the protaras *****. We never ran out of things to do, and explored the area to its extent. Brilliant area for sea water sports, restaurants, bars & activities. Pool Area & activities - We found that the pool area was excellent. The pool is a great size, and it never felt cramped. It was also very clean. There is also a toddler pool, and another pool located out the way for those who may want it a little quieter. The entertainers did appear to be cheery and was always engaging with the guests to ask them to join in on their activities. It is a shame that the equipment involved did not meet to their standards. The water polo nets were completely disheveled and often had to have a sunbed leant on them, along with an entertainer to prevent them from blowing away. The hotel should invest in some more, and also some colour co-ordinated tabards so that people playing water polo know who’s on their team. Entertainment & activities - The evening entertainment was what i would describe as unusual. Some of the acts hired to perform were genuinely terrible, and we often found ourselves either going out, or sitting on our balcony instead. However, the female violinist was incredible! The gym which is located on the lower level appears to have been forgotten about. The majority of the equipment is rusted and sticky, and half of the weights are missing. I went on the treadmill for a run, and the speed down button didn’t work, and i ended up having to press the emergency button and nearly injured myself falling off. It was not ideal for those who want to maintain their fitness on holiday. Service - The service could have been better. We often found ourselves discussing what mood the bar staff would be in today. One day it would be kind, jokey and polite and the next it would be miserable and rude. The waiters/waitresses in the food hall area never said “he

They said there was a kids club, no there wasn’t , they did a mini disco every night, the food was so so to start with, but as the week went on it got worst, breakfast was the best meal of the day, no pancakes 😡, on the plus side the rooms were clean beds were comfortable, would I go back , only if I was on a diet ,take extra money for food, ate out most nights ,food that bad, certainly not a cheap holiday.

Quite basic room,not a lot of storage space.Needing a bit work done on doors and tap in bathroom.On a plus was very clean ,most of staff were very nice especially restaurant staff.Ermeoni at front desk was excellent and very good at her job.The food was okay but like most all inclusive bit repetitive.Would have liked to see some grilled food mainly stews .Pool bar staff also very good and was a lovely pool area.Nice and close to beach and bus stop which was great for getting about.The entertainment was a bit odd but all bars round about had tribute acts if you wanted .That was the real down side to it .Very noisy at night,from 10pm till 3 sometimes 4 am we heard it all.So don,t go If you are looking for quiet nights.Room was at the front of the annex building which got the sun from 2pm till sunset which was good .All in all it was pleasant enough but definitely a 3 star hotel.

Good points 😀 Hard working friendly staff Clean spacious room (636) plenty of storage Great location, close to beach, bars and restaurants Not so good points 😒 Not ideal for those with mobility issues. No hand rails in lobby area at stairs to access WC Ladders only to access pools (I injured my foot when climbing out and daren't risk using pool again) Toilets very low everywhere, no hand rails in bathroom, shower screen not wide enough, floor gets wet and dangerous after every use Food dissapointing, cheap cuts of meat used couldn't cut or chew most of the time also not kept hot enough, had to use microwave to reheat

Just returned from this lovely hotel the hotel is spotlessly clean beds comfy. The pool is clean so many beds .the food was a bit repetitive but there was always something there to eat .I must say the best part of the holiday was the entertainment girls Tanya and Maria they worked really hard and tried to get everyone involved. Maria is such a fun girl we will definitely be back and meet some lovley people. Everyone was so freindly

Tsokkos hotel is very clean and amazing. Food is excellent you have so much to choice from you want. Staff are so friendly would definitely go back there again. Everything is located near the hotel for example shops, restaurant. Really recommend this place !

This is a medium sized hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely surrounding and spotlessly clean. Plenty of room around the pool and a variety of food buffet style for all tastes. Beach and shops/ bars a very short walk away. Would definitely visit again

Great hotel. Amazing experience i had there. Great service by Manager Mr. doros and hotel manager Mr. Pambos. Their team are always on point to serve the guest. Smile on face with excitement to work. Food is fabulous by chef Mr. Andreas. Room are comfortable and clean. Bar staff serve several drinks which is the delicious. Loved our holiday. I will come back.
