Flora Hotel Apartments

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of the 2025 season. Our apartment was basic but clean. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The shower had a mind of its own and had to be used as a handheld shower as if you could even get it to stay attached the water flooded the whole bathroom. My friend struggled to sleep at night as the music at night was very loud although to be expected as on the main *****. Breakfast was ok although for the first 2 days heavy rock was being played not the gentle music you would like to listen to whilst eating breakfast on holiday. Have to agree with other reviews about the poor evening meal in the restaurant next door we were made to feel very unwelcome and the food was not good my friend had a ‘chicken’ dish which to this day we still don’t know what she ate but it wasn’t chicken. We only ate there the first night and ate elsewhere for the rest of the time. Don’t waste your money by going half board it’s really not worth it and much better places to eat for a very reasonable price. The staff at the flora were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you.. allowing us to keep the room until the evening on our last day at no extra cost to accommodate us for a late flight home. We didn’t use the pool during our stay as it didn’t look very inviting or clean with lots of dirt on the bottom blown in from an adjoining car park. The flora is situated in a good place with the beach less than 5 minutes away and bus stop outside with regular buses. Supermarket is pretty much opposite so very handy for getting basics like water. If I was returning to Protaras I wouldn’t stay here again, although the staff are lovely there are too many other things that let it down.

I don’t normally complain but ,,,, We stayed at the flora hotel apartments for 2 weeks. Rooms basic beds are very hard , rooms and was cleaned every other day, bins also emptied every other day . Should have been room clean day before checking out don’t get cleaned or bin emptied . We was half board and we had breakfast in the flora bar which was nice could have been a little more warmer. The evening meal was in the restaurant next door well what can I say ,,,, it was shocking have a set menu and that runs for 14 days so if your there like us you eat the same for 2 weeks , there was a choice of soup or garlic bread to start 2 pasta dishes meatballs and what suppose to look like pork dish served on bed of couscous and calamari .. we decided after twice going we will eat out every night, .. our room we did ask for on the front which we did get yes noisy at night but didn’t bother us at all. ( great for people watching 🤣🤣🤦‍♀️) even watched the magic dancing water show from balcony must say that is not worth the hour long and glad I didn’t pay out the money to watch….. pool at flora first few days we had there then went everyday to the beach as I fished something out pool before going for a swim then realised it was a cockroach that came to life and was running around the pool area then we saw another 2,,,,. Went to pool few days before leaving and the pool of you wanted to go in was very dirty bits floating and all on bottom of pool ,, don’t think they ready maintain there pool at all could do with a sweep round and pool clean everyday. No I would not stay here again!!!!
