Let me save you hundreds of euros and a few tears: DO NOT STAY HERE. We’ve travelled extensively, rarely complain, and usually find the good in even the roughest of travel hiccups. But this “5-star” disaster left us shocked, exhausted, and hundreds of euros poorer. Night One: A Masterclass in How to Ruin a Holiday We arrived hoping for peace and comfort. Honestly, if Gordon Ramsay had walked in, she’d have told him how to run a hotel. (And probably tried to upsell him a different suite.) The Hidden Extras & Empty Halls Want to park your car? That’s extra. Want to leave your sanity intact? Too late. The hotel was less than half full in the height of summer, and now we know why. We ended up walking away from over 700 euros just to escape. That’s how bad it was. Anticipating Their Copy-Paste Response Oh, and if you’re reading their response to this review — don’t bother. We can already predict the corporate nonsense: “We offered two alternative rooms and followed our procedures…” Yes, you did — at an extra cost, with zero compassion, and maximum attitude.
