This is a very pleasant resort in a beautiful setting. Top marks go to the staff who are very friendly and more than helpful. Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. Also a very picturesque beachside restaurant with good food. The gardens and beach are pristine with more helpful staff around if you need them. My only negative comment is that while the rooms are very clean, they are rather tired, with outdated bathrooms, hairdryers and door locking arrangements. However on the plus side the air con is good. Despite these small niggles I would most definitely return again.

Service makes this hotel outstanding —in addition to its charming setting in beautifully tended grounds alive with birdsong, beside a pristine sandy beach, delicious meals, large, super seawater pool. When I forgot my passport in the safe, the reception staff got it sent to me within five days.

Hotel del golfo is a good four starts hotel. The pools are nice and the main one is sea water. The beach is beautiful ( every time you change beach towels you need to pay €1) The restaurant is very good with plenty of desserts. We paid for half board ( breakfast and dinner) and I definitely recommend that. This was my first time in Italy and I did not know but no irons in the hotels that I have visited. The hair dryer was weird and it did not work for me. I lake the gardens. Cleaning and personnel were good. I recommend the hotel and we definitely would return.

A real 4 star. Excellent location ... excellent services ... swimming pool ... whirlpools ... spaces direct access to the sandy beach and a good sea ... internal parking ... To underline the quality of the truly high level restaurant. The cost is certainly not low but it is worth it. The sleeping rooms are simple but functional. Good night tranquility. The only flaw is the choice to charge a third bed in a double room with an almost full rate .... a bit exaggerated ....

We enjoyed this hotel for the fifth time in June: unique location, ideal sandy beach, very good hotel restaurant on the beach, beautiful morning dining terrace, well-kept rooms, pool and park. Fantastic sunsets. Also ideally located for the village of Proccio, allowing strolling, shopping and feasting.

Location fantastica, bella struttura, bella spiaggia con bella piscina attigua e servizio bar, più ristorante sulla spiaggia “La Capannina”.Colazione fantastica, servita su una bella terrazza di fronte al mare. La nostra camera era spaziosa, ben insonorizzata, comoda in ogni sua parte. Letto rifatto a metà pomeriggio, camera sempre rimessa in ordine (servizio da 5 stelle).La cena a là carte nel ristorante interno è stata di buon livello con servizio impeccabile. Unico piccolo neo il prezzo leggermente alto anche se, come detto, siamo stati molto bene e probabilmente ci torneremo.

Di ritorno dopo qualche anno in questo hotel per un altro convegno enigmistico, posso solo confermare che è un top hotel…stanza grandissima e pulita…tutto il personale gentilissimo ed efficiente….la location è quella che è…3 cene al ristorante dove non ricordo una cosa che non mi sia piaciuta…unico consiglio che mi permetto di dare: la colazione è di per se’ ottima e variegata….non capisco gli extra che bisogna pagare per alcune portate della colazione su richiesta

Prenotato una doppia uso singolo. Ricevuto una singola. Allora ho fatto notare che il servizio ricevuto non è corrisposto alla prenotazione(stanza più piccola, letto più piccolo, ecc). Mi hanno risposto:"si era una singola, ci scusiamo, però non cambia il prezzo tra una singola e una doppia uso singola". Io ero solo, quindi anche la singola mi sarebbe andata bene. Però la correttezza e la serietà di un albergo 4 stelle con prezzi importanti(euro 148 a notte, pernottamento e prima colazione) pur essendo nella terza settimana di settembre (per una stanza veramente piccola, porta non insonorizzata, vista strada) si vede anche da come vengono gestiti questi inconvenienti. MALE e ATTENZIONE se la stanza che vi viene fornita corrisponde a quanto prenotato.
