This has been our go-to in the Princeton area for a few years. Location can’t be beat. Breakfast is excellent and Dolores is the best at making you feel welcome during breakfast and keeping things tidy, clean, and seeing to guests concerns at breakfast - she really is the reason we’ve come back - unfortunately since Covid, the hotel has been slipping and I’m honestly sad as these issues just need attention from management. Our last 2 stays, it is clear that rooms are not being properly cleaned - I suspect that housekeeping staff has been reduced and is overwhelmed. Our room kitchenette floor was so sticky, each time we walked our across our feet would stick. The dishes/silverware dirty and strewn in drawer. The kitchen sink garbage disposal was missing the flaps and we could see gross decaying food. The tub drain had apparently been cleared but they never put back the cap and just left it on the edge of the tub. The pillows had such a foul odor (think like boys locker room after football practice - that used entire bottle amount of Febreeze to make bearable). A quick walkthrough of rooms by supervisor would ensure a much more pleasant environment for a guest on arrival—Housekeeping may be understaffed. Sadly we are not going back; for our next stay we will be booking elsewhere. Luckily there are plentiful options in the Princeton area.

I typically stay at Holiday Inn Express when I travel. This was another good hotel. Breakfast was fine. Bed was tolerable although all of the pillows were soft. My only grip is that the advertisement was misleading. I recognized that the hotel was connected to the Crown Plaza and Convention Center. However, the advertising made it seem that the exercise room and pool were actually in the Holiday Inn Express not the Crown Plaza.

We recently stayed at Princeton Hampton Inn for Reunions and Graduation and enjoyed it. The hotel is on Route 1 with many others and is a short drive to the University. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The quality of the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and always helpful. If you have a car, this is a very good choice. For Reunions it also worked well as there are shuttles running to and from the University. We have stayed at many of the Princeton hotels and rate Hampton Inn as one of the best.

The hotel was so comfy and cozy. The area was quiet and I was able to work remotely with no interruptions. The front desk staff - Ty and Katheryn were exceptional and so very helpful. We ate at the restaurant most evenings. The evening host at the restaurant were so kind and attentive. Benny and Sabina were fantastic. I would recommend this hotel for your next stay in the Princeton area. BTW - the cookies were awesome!

Hotel service is attentive. There are breakfast and afternoon tea, although there are not many varieties, it is not bad to eat around the hotel. There is a canteen downstairs, you can choose more. The room is large, with kitchen utensils, and you can buy it yourself.

We were needing to stop for the evening so I called the Hampton Inn to see if they had availability. Damien, the gentleman on the phone was so friendly and accommodating and made us feel so welcome. When we arrived shortly after and he checked us in, his same welcoming personality and positive comments about their hotel made us feel special. The beds were comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was above the normal standards of hotel breakfast buffets. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Loading our car in the drizzling rain, we accidentally overlooked my husbands toiletries bag. When I called, they again, were so friendly and helpful acknowledging they had it. Damien once again assured me he would personally make sure he would get it returned to us. We travel quite a bit and the staff here are the best at making guests feel appreciated and welcome. They seem committed to their jobs and this hotel.

We were warmly welcomed and felt at home during our 5 day stay. The lounge was lovely for a nightcap or a snack and, though we didn't have time to take advantage of the lovely pool or hot tub, we did see many enjoying their time in the pool area. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

The room is comfortable and quite big. It is convenient to buy next to the hypermarket. The only disadvantage is that there is no breakfast provided. If you want to go to Washington, the CP value of living here is quite high.
GGuest UserNice stay for 2 business nights in August. Convenient location with plenty of parking. Lobby was clean and bright. Front desk staff was friendly and engaging. Room was clean and fresh and didn't have any unusual smells. The breakfast was really good. My only issue was the AC in the room which didn't work effectively. After responding to the manager's check-in email someone came and attended to the AC, but it did not work any better. This is probably the best BonVoy property in the area.
YYUWENThe location is very good, just across the street from Princeton University for shopping and dining, and it is convenient to walk to most buildings of the university, including the Art Museum (you must check in here, because of the rich collection, especially Chinese cultural relics, you should check in repeatedly). Check in to a 20% discount card for a restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast can also be discounted. It is a historic restaurant with good service. The hotel service is very good, but it is really a bit old, the bathtub is slippery when stepping into it, so I have to hold on to the railing. There are two blocks in the lobby, one without guests passing through. It is great to have a rest and talk about things. After leaving the room, sitting there with luggage and waiting for someone to fall asleep (jet lag) and no one would interfere.
GGuest UserMy son had his small wedding at The Peacock Inn this past Sunday. It was an intimate luncheon for approximately 40 guests. From the moment we arrived, The Peacock Inn was attentive to our needs. The grounds outside were beautifully planted with flowers and assorted greenery. The dining area was so lovely with soft music playing in the background. The tented area, in the outside back of the inn, looked so beautiful and perfect for the walk down the aisle. After the service, the cocktail area, on the side of the premises was set with bistro style tables. The food was delicious and plentiful and the quartet on the porch, was such a lovely touch. Julie, our ”go to” was absolutely fabulous, as was her staff. 10 stars. I would highly recommend The Peacock Inn as a venue for a small gathering or lunch/dinner.
GGuest UserPoor first impressions. We showed up for a one night stay. First off the main door is broken and everyone has to squeeze thru. With luggage it’s a chore We arrive at the checkin desk to find an associate sitting behind on her phone. She greets us and we indicate we are here to check in. She tells us she’s the only one here and she’s on her break. She will be with us in (checks watch) 10 minutes We literally sat there watching her stare at her phone for 10 minutes. At which point she jumps up and is like “ok I can help you now” I get that people are entitled to breaks. But how do you have ONE person manning the front desk area? I don’t fully blame her but it literally took her 72 seconds to check us in…. It’s a shame cause the location is convenient. Rooms are dated tho. From the outside it looks new and modern. Inside not so much.
陈陈Superb, beautiful environment, convenient transportation, free parking. The room is two bedrooms and one living room plus kitchen. Can live 6 people. You can cook by yourself. Buying 40 knives of ingredients can be enough for four people to eat for two to three days. Much better than eating outside. Very close to the Hmart Korean supermarket. Supermarket ingredients are very good.
EETS_ChinaThe location is excellent, the surrounding Unicom and travel are very convenient, the hotel is very cost-effective
Advantages: The room is elegant and generous, simple and heavy decoration, and has a strong sense of history. The facilities in the room are complete, with everything you need.
The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious
GGuest UserWe only had the experience with one room type, a large room with a balcony on the second floor. I know they have smaller rooms that might have been remodeled. But having said that this room we got was dirty (dead flies, spots on the carpet all over, coffee stains on a bathroom wallet ). The heating system is a built in electric heater, quite old and fairly noisy. You can see the room was not properly updated for a while, maybe never. The bed sheets, blanket, pillows all quite sub par. We only stayed one night so did not push for a room change because of that. But I recommend you look at the room before moving in if this is possible. While the bones of this property are amazing, it needs updating.
The stay was good and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful with my needs. There were stores close by wish was great and doordash easily found the hotel as well. Would recommend this hotel fot a quick overnight stay away.
