An idyllic 30 acre private island is the setting for Six Senses Krabey which embraces just 40 pool villas set in a lush jungle landscape with a rocky coastline, fringed by a boardwalk that is a glorious fusion of land and water. A classic fisherman’s house is reflected in the design of the main lobby, lounge and sunset bar, while surrounding nature becomes a feature of the dining experience, inspiring decor elements that set the backdrop for contemporary Khmer dishes as well as regional and international cuisine. The expansive Six Senses Spa that sits atop the island is inspired by the sacred Khmer Kbal Spean River and offers a wide range of holistic rejuvenation including Six Senses Integrated Wellness program. Guests arrive to the resort’s mainland reception after just a 10-minute drive from Sihanouk International Airport where they embark on a short 15 minute water transfer to the island. Not worth it! The stuff is really amazing and helpful, however the place is not worth visiting. The nature, beach and activities are below average and do not match the luxury price the resort is charging. It is also near to a kinda port so you will see cargo ships passing near the island. You can see rubbish floating in the water around the island as well. The food is also average and overpriced. A papaya salad cost 20USD. For comparison it worth 2.50USD on the mainland. Another example, the resort car service ask 90USD for 30km ride. For comparison, the taxi from Phnom Penh to Angkor Wat with a distance of 320km worth 80USD. On my personal opinion, there is noting much to see and do on the island, and definitely nothing that justify the price.

This is the first time we chose "Six Senses". I didn't expect it to be in Sihanoukville. I wanted to stay in Koh Rong Island, but the hotel I wanted to stay in didn't have any rooms at that time. I don't know how I found "Six Senses". The budget was indeed much higher than it should be, but after reading a lot of reviews online, I was really "moved". It turned out that it was "worth the trip". I think that for a certain level of hotel, customers pay more for the location and service, and the room itself only accounts for a small part. Six Senses, one hotel and one island attracted me. The seamless process from Sihanoukville Airport, hotel pick-up, boat ride, hotel GEM welcome, room introduction, adding WeChat communication are all very smooth. Basically, any needs can be met, and they reply in seconds. We were received by the beautiful and gentle "Lanchun", who patiently answered my questions and helped us reserve a place for dinner every night in advance. There are many activities on the island. Water activities including snorkeling and kayaking are free, including the use of equipment. In addition, we went fishing outside the island and caught more than a dozen fish, one of which was a wild grouper. We asked the restaurant chef to help deal with it. The meat was really tender. The types of dinners are different every day, and sometimes the restaurants are different. I personally prefer tree restaurant. The ingredients and taste on the first day were amazing, and the four of us were very satisfied. After the meal, each person also had dessert, which was exquisite and delicious. The breakfast variety is also very rich. In addition to the restaurant, you can also order it. We can eat delicious porridge, barbecued pork rice, rice noodles, pancakes, omolet, etc. every day. It is a combination of Chinese and Western. In short, the food is very rich and the taste is online. The hotel is very original and environmentally friendly. We stayed for three days and did not find a single plastic product. The general manager of the hotel carefully introduced the hotel to us when we checked in, and listened to our feedback carefully when we checked out. It felt very sincere. Manager "Meng Chao" who I communicated with on WeChat also introduced me a lot of information about the hotel. Although I failed to make a reservation through him, I was able to finally choose "Six Senses", which has a lot to do with him. I am also very happy to communicate face to face in the hotel. In short, Krabey Island Six Senses is an unforgettable experience in our lives. Thanks to everyone in the hotel, I hope to see you again. Chinese people have some "inherent" impressions of Sihanoukville, which has become a barrier to staying in Sihanoukville to a large extent. I think if the hotel can remove this barrier, more Chinese people will choose it. In addition, I hope to add more GEMs who can speak Chinese. The fewer dining options, the better, and the more direct, the better.

The service of the hotel is very good, because the clothes were forgotten in the hotel, the hotel staff are very enthusiastic to help solve it, and they can also understand and support us when we change the delivery address and method later.

The hospitality was unbeatable. We as vegetarian were a little sceptical about food, but chef Rath took utmost care to feed us. Cambodian , Italian and Indian cuisine were all set to a next level. Our GEM Nam was very nice friendly and a soft spoken person. She took great care of all our needs. A special bouquet, a personalised card , all made my birthday celebrations all the more special. Staff courtesy is outstanding . Thank you team six senses for a luxurious stay

We had a great time at Six Senses Koh Krabey. The island itself is very beautiful and the villas are amazing with lots of space for outdoor seating/ sunbathing ( and the view from the villa was breathtaking). Even though we came in September when there were lots of rainy days, we did plenty of outdoor activities and visited the spa a few times when the weather wasn’t so good. Our gem Navy helped us a lot to plan activities during our stay and took a good care of all out requests

We had a lovely experience at the resort, we didn’t get a chance to get bored with all the activities. We did the kayaking, wich was ok, not blooming, if you expect to kayak on cristal waters it’s not the case, we didn’t get the chance too see any wild life or birds, but we got the chance to exercise a bit, same with the hiking, but we got a little bit of the jungle feeling. We really enjoyed the spice trail, it’s where we got the chance to get to see the real life of the cambodgian people, the country side was really nice. All the services at the resort were wonderful, relaxing, I feel what’s missing is the beach. You connot enjoy a good swim, snorkeling, or actually any of the water sportsc because of the rocks, corals, waves, cureents, I feel it’s a pitty to go on an Island in the middle of the ocean and not be able to take a good swim or to cool yourself a bit in the salty waters. Service was wonderful, Namchhun Nam overdid herself , delighted us with small presents each day, was very careful with us, her and her colleagues as well, Summer and February. Also the Ayurvedic diagnosis and the meditations were a unique and wonderful experience. We would love to join again someday.

Our experience here is a memory I will never forget! The customer service was AMAZING and 100% worth my money. It was luxurious but they are eco-friendly and environmentally sustainable. I could tell they really cared about CSR. Our GEM, Kumpheak, went above and beyond accommodations. She was able to help us get rides around they island, give activity recommendations based on our interests and personalized our experience. It was easy to communicate; especially with her quick responses. I really appreciated that. Again, I can’t emphasize enough how great the customer service was. Every staff, from the driver to the server to the masseuse — everyone was fantastic! I absolutely love it here and will definitely come back!

Once we were whisked away from the airport for a comfortable 2 hour ride to the jetty and a short boat ride to the island, we received a very warm welcome and our GEM Bong Anna ensured that all the activities we wanted to do were booked. A very special shoutout to Bong Liliana and her team for the excellent delicious food and also taking care of my special dietary requirements! You really took great care and it is much appreciated! All F&B staff were ready to serve with a warm smile and the Spa sessions were simply so relaxing, that we should have had them earlier. Bong Abhijith’s wellness screening was insightful! The surroundings and the villa were of course stunning and though we came during the low season when it was mainly raining, but that didn’t affect our moods and found the sound of the rain simply relaxing. In the end it’s the people from every department who made this place special, especially when exchanging views or just saying Chum Reap Sur! Thank you to All and wish you all the best!

My wife and I had the most wonderful time at the six senses on Krabey island. From the pick up at the airport, the ferry across to the island, the villa, spa, fitness center, food, and the service, everything was exceptional. We loved the food so much, and our villa was beautifully secluded. The staff are awesome, and so friendly. We felt very much at home and relaxed during our honeymoon and did not want to leave. We hope to be back one day soon!
