A chic Italian style boutique hotel perched above Pretoria with commanding views. Catello Di Monte is beautiful and the presidential suites are huge and very well appointed with a classic style old school feel. Service is efficient and friendly, dinner and wine was also very good. Lovely garden and swimming pool. A perfect stay and ideally located in a safe area, for the Blue Train or Rocos rail services. A big shout out to Joy and the team.

Excellent 9 room hotel in safe area of Pretoria. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good but dinner has limited choice. Overall the food is well prepared. Transport can be arranged from the hotel. The hotel has a small swimming pool and the surrounding gardens are well kept.

Lovely quirky hotel with fabulous views. Very helpful and considerate staff and a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay there. Would recommend to anyone visiting Pretoria. The evening meal was top class. Thanks to all 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊 😀😀😀😀 👍👍👍👍👍👍

We have had a wonderful 4 day stay at this beautiful Guest House. From the moment we checked in the staff were the friendliest, most efficient, helpful and nicest people to meet. The rooms are large, very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Pretoria Golf Club is within walking distance and would highly recommend a game of golf. Also on the golf site is one of the best restaurants Blu Saffron we have ever eaten in. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area or going on the Rovos Train. Thank you Castello Di Monte for making our stay perfect.

Absolutely superb hotel the most peaceful place one could imagine Rooms are amazing all 9 of them , staff are fabulous, Highly recommend this Hotel for a stop over or longer stay As Uber drivers are so ridiculously cheap it’s so easy and economical to get to any destination very quickly

Superb hotel in an extremely secure diplomatic area of Pretoria. Staff were extremely pleasant, welcoming and efficient. Meals were all of a high standard. Our room, The Presidential Suite- wow!!!! Absolutely fantastic with fabulous views from the balconies.

Arrived very early for check in, room was not ready so we were offered the honeymoon suite to avoid us having to walt to check in, the suite was amazing and a great start to the short stay at this fabulous hotel, staff were great and the location was fantastic We highly recommend this hotel and a big thank you to all the staff Mike & Linda (Jersey)

Beautiful hotel and the room was fabulous. The service was friendly although there was a shortage of choice for the wines. Garden is lovely Very convenient if you are taking a Rovos rail trip. Transfers arranged smoothly Altogether a great experience

This beautiful hotel deserves its 5 star rating from the initial greeting to the farewell. We were two couples who arrived in the evening for a one night stop over stay before going onto a safari. We were welcomed on arrival and the staff did everything they could to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. The food for dinner and breakfast was amazing. The rooms were fantastic with lovely balconies and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with everything you needed including an iron and ironing board which you don't get elsewhere. What they could improve on was the time it took to serve meals especially the breakfast but when it did come it was quality.
