Amazing place and so serene. Always warm and pleasant. The food was great and the amenities were just as shown in the photos. I recommend this hotel.

Arrived to a very stylish building . Inside was very plush . Received very well by reception staff. Room was massive and clean. There was a rug at the bottom of the bed which is a lawsuit waiting to happen . It wasnt fixed to the wooden floor and slipped when i stood on it . I folded it and shoved it under the bed . The bathroom was spacious but the hot water took an age and lots of water was wasted before it was warm enough. Breakfast was buffet style but was cold not sure if it was actually on . Food was a little strange for a Brit but i ate it. Plenty of choice and there was a chef to prepare dishes as required omlettes etc. Next days breakfast was better . Pool outside wasnt as clean as expected but it was their winter 20* isnt winter in uk . Cost of drinks in this hotel was unbelieveable , cheaper than UK by a country mile . I was there with some friends for the rugby and it was fantastic. Comfortable without spectacular . Good enough for the Chinese government who were also staying .

Lobby and room is a bit dark even with all lights turned on but the rest is fine. Breakfast buffet is quite nice too!

What a beautiful view of the union building and a clean,big, blue beautiful pool side. The meeting rooms were so quiet and the internet connection was perfect for working. The staff was so helpful and kind I would totally recommend it

The hotel is good for its price. But the building and rooms are quite old. Although this has its own atmosphere. The location is not the best, in my opinion, since it is not safe to go for a walk in this area. But there is a government palace nearby, within walking distance.

The staff is very friendly. People who come here for business from China will stay here. We checked in just when South Africa was holding an air show. All members of the Chinese Air Force's Y-20 were staying here. So it shouldn't be too bad. A few steps away is a big statue of Mandela. It's a statue... I think it's the presidential palace. The old Sheraton. It looks like it has a lot of history. The room rate of a few hundred dollars is really worth it👍

It's a bit of a history. The location is very good. The room is big but a bit old. Maybe it's not suitable for young couples to go out. Service is average. Parking costs 30 rand a day.
