On Booking, it seemed super-ok, classified at 4*, to discover the worst hotel experience of my life. The rooms are shiveringly cold and I was told by the reception that they only turn on the heat at night (it is night, heating is not on), as during the day they maintain 21 degrees. I don't know how they measure these 21 degrees in the rooms, as they don't have a thermostat, and by the way you're shivering, it's way below 21 degrees! The guy at the reception gave me his air heater (which doesn't do anything much, I sit next to it so I don't shiver anymore) and assured me that the water in the pool is warm (!!!) It's unacceptable that, on my own money, I should come and shivering in a hotel... The room is from the time of communism, with holes in the curtains, dirty switches, the bathroom with leaks and the a bathtub you are afraid to get into. In addition, at a 4* hotel, there is no mini-bar and the carpets are stained. The restaurant is so cold that your whole body freezes...this hotel does not deserve more than 2*. Now I understand why they want to pay in advance. I would give anything to cancel this reservation and get my money back, to look for another accommodation! I tried 3 times to speak to the manager, but the guy at the reception told me i can speak to her in the morning!!!
