It was a short stay, just one night but we will definitely return because we were very satisfied from all points of view. Roberta was very helpful and friendly, we really enjoyed everything, as did the staff.... beautiful rooms, excellent catering. We still wish we could have stayed... Worth trying... you certainly can't help but be fully satisfied

Excellent welcome in this comfortable, very clean establishment, in which we slept, breakfasted and dined during a week of hiking. Roberta and her team take great care and our taste buds are happy! Even in the middle of summer the nights are cool there 🙂

I titled the review passion and perseverance, because both of these qualities are needed to run a restaurant and hotel business in these Occitan valleys, devoid of the winter attraction of alpine skiing. Well, Roberta and her sister Enrica succeed, helped in this also by the enthusiasm of their friendly parent. You can find accommodation in individual equipped accommodations or in the B&B, with well-restored and insulated rooms dating back to the 1400s. I come to the quality of the catering: I would say simply excellent, connected to the territory and therefore to the products of the Maira Valley and the other Occitan valleys. We will certainly try the structure also in summer, to be able to take advantage of longer days and the wonderful paths in the area.

At the beginning of September I stayed at Tano with my wife for 4 days with the aim of discovering Val Maira. We had a very good time in both the hotel and the room: clean, with a beautiful view of the valley and well-kept. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, genuine (excellent cheeses and cold cuts) accompanied by the chatter and advice of Corrado, a very kind host. In the evening we always dined at the restaurant in San Michele, the cuisine was appreciated because it was simple and genuine in its ingredients (many coming from the vegetable garden under our bedroom window) which were well prepared and always surprised us with their excellent taste. We will miss the buckwheat, apple and cinnamon cake. The service was courteous and friendly and Roberta was always available. We'll be back soon! Maria Grazia and Daniele
