Wow, what a great place to unwind. This was an ancient villa that had so much history and charm. The staff can give great history of the home. To be clear, there are big, roomy suites, but we chose to stay in one of the smaller rooms upstairs. It was very quiet, great ac, good shower with hot water, comfortable beds, etc. however, we spent much more time in the sitting rooms or the porch. The staff will bend over backwards to be of any help. This isn’t a holiday inn or Hilton, it’s a place to unwind and relax and recharge. Highly recommended.

Villa to discover. Impeccable welcome, exquisite kindness and availability. You enter and you are inevitably transported into a now, alas, forgotten time dimension. You enter this beautiful farmhouse and you are enchanted by so many memories that must be enclosed and hidden in this farm. I recommend reading the history of this family. Absolutely to try. 10 stars only for the sensations. I'll leave the more "specific" reviews to "professionals" of the web.... Thanks for your attention and welcome.

Villa Rucellai is een stijlvolle historische villa, zo'n drie kilometer buiten het centrum van Prato. De B&B wordt geleid door vier broers met hun familie, een familieonderneming met rijke traditie en een historie die niet alleen in Italië, maar ook in Amerika haar wortels heeft. Alles ademt hier stijl en kwaliteit. Mooi ingerichte kamers, goede bedden, prima badkamer. Stijlvolle ontbijtruimte met een royaal aanbod van voedsel , koffie, thee, melk en sappen. Bij mooi weer kun je op het terras ontbijten en genieten van het heerlijke uitzicht. Na een warme dag staat een groot fris zwembad ter beschikking. Er wordt hier veel zorg besteed aan het welbevinden van de gast. Alles is schoon en netjes en goed geventileerd. Uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst door Giovanni en zijn dochters. Gratis parkeren en goede wifi completeren de positieve indruk. Achteraf gezien jammer dat we er maar twee nachten hadden geboekt. Echt een plek om terug te komen.
