We stayed for two nights. The staff are very friendly. The room and bathroom are spotless. There is a fridge in the room (not every two-star hotel has one). The safe is too small to take an iPad. It is locked by key, rather than electronic code. I’m sure it would have been fine, but I didn’t use it. Breakfast is basic, but the gentleman makes a fantastic caffe doppio (e acqua calda a parte). Internally the building was very quiet. Externally, no sound in the evenings or overnight. We were in a room at the front. Morning sounds in Prato start at about 07:30. Prato is a good base for Florence, with regular trains. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes stroll to the station but is very close to the castle and the Duomo.

I was worried about the 2 stars, however, I was pleasantly surprised. There are no Marriotts or Hiltons in Prato, all hotels are small bed and breakfast type or independent hotels. The rooms are clean, the owners are very friendly (cannot speak English but are very sweet and try to communicate). Breakfast in the morning is pastry and yogurt. Coffee and tea. I would stay here again. Tip Bring your own towels and washcloths. They only provide one towel and will not give another one to you. They also do not give out washcloths. Air conditioning worked very well

Hotel in the center, spotless room, peace and comfort. Staff very kind, helpful, attentive. The lady left us the parking space in the parking lot in front of the hotel that we were able to leave all day, really a convenience. Good breakfast in the morning,

I stayed at this property with my partner on the occasion of the long weekend of 2 June. The hotel is located in the historic center and a ten-minute walk from the Porta al Serraglio train station. The room assigned to us was spacious, clean, well furnished and equipped with air conditioning and mini bar. New bathroom complete with courtesy kit and hairdryer. The breakfast is basic, but complete with everything you need (the delicious croissants are worth mentioning) and it is served directly by the owners, who are really nice people. The experience turned out to be more than positive and the structure is certainly to be taken into consideration for a possible other trip to Prato!

Piccolo albergo con stanze standard ma ampie e molto pulite. Colazione dimensionata alla tipologia del piccolo albergo servita dal proprietario; brioches di pasticceria (sarebbe un peccato qualcosa di industriale). Accoglienza top. Felice pure il nostro cane Ricky, che è potuto scendere nella piccola sala colazioni. Abbiamo parcheggiato davanti all'hotel con l'aiuto prezioso del proprietario. Soggiorno davvero confortevole. Consigliato!
