We totally loved it! The food was great, the rooms are what we wanted, old school furniture and such, no fancy city-like vibes. The ocean literally a 20 seconds walk distance. But more than everything we really appreciated the kindness and generosity of the staff. We will most likely choose Paradise Sun again, next time we come to Praslin!!!!

Great room overlooking the sea with fantastic confortable bed and pillows. Good quality food and excellent hotel team. the hotel structure though is old and need to be revamped to be a true 4 stars hotel. Also in august ( Seychelles winter) the beach and the sea are not clear and with lot of weeds. Having said that, is located in Praslin that is a simply wonderful island where you can do a lot of experience and exploration.

A very beautiful, simple, and authentic resort. Everyone is very kind. The true standout of the resort is John, a force of nature! The food is average. The location is perfect! The resort's beach in August has some seaweed, but it's very close to the most beautiful beaches on the island!

The main problem with this hotel is that it is overrated. Guests will arrive expecting a first class experience but it is far from that. We had a 10 night stay in the Seychelles which was fabulous overall. We spent the first 5 nights on Mahe at the Constance Ephelia. This resort was just outstanding in every way and exceeded our expectations. We booked through Audley Travel (who are also outstanding). Audley rate Paradise Sun in the same category as Constance Ephelia for some reason but unfortunately, Paradise Sun is a world apart. I would rate this hotel a good 3 star/poor 4 star. We have no major complaints as such but everything was underwhelming. Staff were ok, some poorly trained, a few were excellent. John, who is in charge of water sports equipment and activities is fantastic and made our overall experience much better. The evening food was average but of a decent standard. Breakfast had a good range but in general the food quality was poor and the breakfast room is very bland and in need of a refit. The rooms had a good layout but are old and tired. Our son's bathroom had a drain smell issue which wasn't resolved during our stay. The grass area directly outside our rooms is poorly drained and very wet and boggy after rain and there are no paths leading right up to the rooms. The pool is old, tired and has some tiles missing (I actually cut my elbow on the edge of a broken tile). The beach was quite nice but there are lots of stingrays so guests are frequently stung and have to go to the local hospital clinic. The Hotel grounds in front of the beach are poorly maintained with lots of areas of unfinished stones/rubble. The layout of the grounds in general is nice but the planting and borders in general are poorly maintained. On the upside, the dive centre is excellent and the hotel atmosphere is very relaxed. The complimentary evening cruise was brilliant. During our stay it was fully booked so they arranged a second trip the following night so all guests could go. We hired a car and visited the Constance Lemuria resort. We had the most amazing welcome and a fantastic lunch there. We spent the rest of the day on the best beach in Praslin, Anse Georgette, which is just at the far end of the Constance Lemuria's golf course. I would stay here next time.

We visited this place in month of may with our family. The hotel is a scam in lot many ways. The hotel is no cheaper they cost you hell and compared to the services they provide is nothing but purely scam. **They don’t offer regular size rooms with kids and the big size which they offer is of no use. The layout of the rooms are so messy that you don’t have space to open your luggage. The cupboards are open and they have so many like so many geckos in the room that u would really not like to unpack your luggage and arrange in the open cupboards. They are least bothered about the geckos running in the room. Even after several complaint they didn’t bother to clean the room. Every time they lied to us that they have cleaned the room but it was never cleaned. We were family of 5 people and in one room there were so many geckos that we all had to sleep together and they were least bothered. At the time of checkout they were like u can’t check out later than 10 am despite knowing that we had faced so much problems at the time of our stay and where we cooperated but they just extended the time for an hour an half and like exactly after the time there men’s were outside the room to pick the luggage. After the sunsets here it’s completely dark. There are no footlights that guides you to your room. I mean what were they even thinking when they were planning the architect of the hotel.?? With kids it’s so difficult to find ways through lush green garden to your room. The lights in the rooms are so dull. It’s just that the property has good beach area to play in sand sun and sea. That’s it!! We have paid heavily for this hotel and we regret every single penny spent here. They charge for water bottles in the restaurant area.

Firstly, THANK YOU Nigel Newmarch, general manager, for making our stay so special and attending to our aircon and room change. Great customer service, friendly, attentive, thoughtful. Superb service from you and all of your staff. It was wonderful meeting you and I so hope we see you next time we visit! This hotel is a hidden gem. This was our first trip to the Seychelles and we absolutely loved this hotel! It’s private and right at the end of a looooong beach. The most spectacular views. The dining area is on sea sand, looking out over the turquoise sea. Cocktails are great! Delicious evening food, a different theme each night. We had the most special last evening, with a beautifully set table and a great bottle of False Bay South African wine. We were so spoilt! Safe and easy to walk along the beach to buy curios and local food. The hotel also helps with arranging day trips and sight seeing, for extra, and rental cars. Ocean was beautiful, we snorkled from the beach and saw a huge turtle, twice. Some great fish too. There are a few sting rays that you need to look out for, we are in their home after all. They move off when they hear/ feel you getting near. But good to be aware. The spa is lovely and relaxing. I had a pedicure and it was great. Food is delicious, great selection at breakfast and dinner. The swimming pool near the restaurant looks small but is perfect and needn’t be any bigger. Great bird life, sunbirds, sea birds, etc. Great big lawns, complimentary evening boat cruise and snorkel (which was superb!). Breathtakingly beautiful! Photos just don’t do it justice. A nature-lover’s paradise. A must visit! They’re renovating at the moment and when they’re done, we’ll be back for sure!!! Thank you for the most memorable holiday.
