Popular Praia 4-star Hotels

We have stayed at this hotel several times after coming to Cape Verde for 17 years, the first time being when it first opened. We have always been totally satisfied with it but felt disappointed this time. We stayed for 2 nights at the start of our holiday before going to another island and 1 night at the end of our holiday. In the first room we couldn't change channels on the tv because it had moved within the wooden frame so the remote couldn't find the signal. The beds weren't very comfy, felt old and tired, there was no plug for the kettle, we had to either unplug the fridge or put the kettle on the floor by the window. When we went for breakfast the staff member was very unfriendly and there was no one to make fresh eggs. We asked if there was any fresh bread & she just said no. The coffee was lukewarm. The pool and pool area were good but we had to wait ages for staff at the bar to get a drink and to get a towel for the loungers. During our last stay before flying home we were relaxing by the pool, again waiting for a drink, and a loud group arrived, singing, dancing & drinking (the staff had arrived by this time) and being very loud. They weren't aggressive but we felt very uncomfortable and decided to leave. Such a shame as we have always enjoyed our previous stays but we both said we wouldn't stay there again in future.

I had to leave the hotel early as I just could not sleep. There is loud music all night from a club nearby, the beds are extremely hard and old mattresses and as soon as you turn off the smelly ac it gets hotter than outside again instantly. After trying another room all problems persisted. When I checked out three days early on a cancelable ******* booking reception told me they will refund the unused nights via ******* but I would have to pay a late checkout fee of EUR 50 as I used the room longer than usual checkout time. But neither did they refund the unused nights (******* told me the manager refuses to refund) nor did they refund the ripped off late checkout fee, they just ignore me. Extremely bad service unfortunately

The people in the room upstairs were running around. The people in the next room were noisy. The room itself was great but noise insulation should be better. There were no elevators or ramps to get heavy bags up and down. Breakfast was great. All around the food was great. Local grilled fish for lunch was fantastic. Hotel staff were pretty good though sometimes did not give their full attention. The pool area was a feature. Very handy location.

Good hotel to hold your business event, such as a training course or workshop. The hotel is clean and the staff really do go the extra mile to help you and make it work. There are basic beaches close by, and some fun restaurants, but its not the most picturesque spot for a holiday hotel. However as a business event I would certainly choose it again.

The hotel is very clean and well equipped for the price. Negative points: The hotel is located outside Praia, which requires taking a taxi every time to go to town or visit something. The breakfast is more than a limit, it doesn't deserve a 4-star, there were just 3 pieces of fruit (which did not very much like), small breads, no cooking or butter, soluble coffee. The hotel is a very nice hotel, and it is a very nice hotel. According to the noises we heard, they entered the room next to ours in order to cambriolar, then they descended from a floor and we heard very violent alterations with many people who cried, Then we were not in safety. The next day we asked the reception what happened, the lady tried to disrupt the case. We still decide to leave the hotel for our safety.

BEST hotel in Praia! The hotel is quite new and very clean. My room was FANTASTIC with a great view! Best pool and views from both restaurants! Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful. A very safe area. There is a nice beach right next to the hotel and another one just a 5 minute walk away. It’s a very walkable area with many restaurants and nightlife to choose from.

Foi uma excelente escolha, ainda bem que escolhi este hotel! Recebida com um sorriso, todo o staff acolhedor, senti me em casa. Adorei esta experiência neste hotel, a simpatia, limpeza, comodidades Situado na Achada de Santo António, um bairro simpático, calmo e com tudo, bancos, farmácia, restaurantes, pastelarias, supermercados, livraria e a 5 minutos a pé da prainha. Recomendo que fiquem neste adorável hotel, principalmente o staff, por terem proporcionado um maravilhosa estadia.

Maybe I have never lived in a foreign hotel, which is a bit rare. The room does not have disposable items, such as toothbrushes, combs, small toothpaste, slippers, and a small piece of soap and body soap. There are floor towels, bath towels, towels, and hair dryers. The overall area of the room type is OK, but there is a lot of invalid space. There are rocking chairs and two sofas, no balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows are large but the window is a building and there is no view. The room is also equipped with a safe and minibar. Remind friends that the power socket is European standard, so prepare the conversion head in advance or find the hotel. It is recommended to bring your own, domestic brand, bull, convenient and easy to use. The product is as follows. For example, the vacation or stay for a long time, it is recommended to prepare a plug-in board for your own use. The front desk brother is very good, can use English to do simple communication with you, help me solve many problems. Everyone must be mentally prepared, the locals are Portuguese, and some service industry personnel can speak English.

ficamos hospedados nesse hotel durante 2 dias e para nós foi o melhor hotel de todo cabo verde :) otima localização em pleno centro :) limpeza nota 10 funcionarios nota 10 e super solicitos decoração nota 10 preço bom, muito silencioso a noite, camas super confortavei enfim eu e minha esposa só temos que agradeçer ao david e a toda a equipe da boutique hotel praia maria. voltaremos em breve sem duvidas :)
