The property is in a beautiful location beachfront. Our host greeted us with a warm welcome and big smile at the dock where our boat dropped us off. The staff were all incredibly friendly and hospitable, making sure our stay was going well. The food from the kitchen was so very tasty and the amenities were wonderful. Cannot say enough good things about the staff and this place.

We had a wonderful time at La Coquille. The Hotel is clean and well-located directly at the beach. The view from the Restaurant is so beautiful! Francisco was very welcoming and always ready for a little chat, in English, in French, and even a few words in German :) Djego and Erica the caretaker of the house, were always super friendly, smily and helpful. We looooved the food that they were preparing for us. Especially the Seafood Risotto , the burgers and the homemade cakes in the morning. Yummm!!! We had a room with the beautiful ocean view. The air condition at night was highly appreciated and the bed was comfortable . We recommend staying at La Coquille and thank Francisco and his team for this very special holiday.

My wife and I were there in May of 2022 and the place was amazing! From the accommodations to the food to the beach and ocean right outside the door and the whole of Ilha Grande. Francisco is a great host and always made sure we were happy. We were there before they were fully open and can only imagine how much more amazing it must be now! We definitely plan a return visit and highly recommend to all!!

El encargado Diego nos cobró un 10% extra del total de la estadía en concepto de servicio. Cuando consulte a la dueña Sophia me dijo que era opcional. En ningún momento nos comunicaron que podíamos optar por no pagarlo. La atención de Diego la calificaría como ausente. Nunca nos brindó ayuda de ningún tipo. Directamente era como si no hubiera nadie. Cuando digo esto es literal. No te atendían. Me siento engañado.

La posada, hermosa; el personal, muy atento. Está frente a la playa, en Aracatiba que es una playa hermosa. Brindan toallas de playa, sillas, paletas, repelente de insectos, paraguas por si llueve, en fin, detalles que hacen la diferencia. El aire acondicionado, indispensable en verano. Todo siempre muy limpio, la comida excelente. Además, están preparados para los múltiples y frecuentes cortes de luz, con su propio generador eléctrico. Volveremos sin dudas. Tip: en las habitaciones de planta baja se escucha bastante lo que pasa en el lobby, evitarlas en lo posible.

El lugar está muy bien puesto, todo es confortable y funcional. Las camas son comodísimas! Aunque sería bueno que las sábanas fueran un poco más grandes porque se salen al girar durante la noche. El desayuno es excepcional, completo y con extras sin cargo (omelette, huevos revueltos, tapioca, etc). El cocinero prepara unos platos exquisitos. El ancho de banda de Internet es de más de 100Mbps, increíble para un lugar tan alejado de las grandes ciudades. Un comentario especial para Diego, que conoce toda la isla a la perfección y está siempre dispuesto a asesorar sobre todos los paseos posibles. Como punto a mejorar, sería bueno que haya música ambiental y de calidez: la decoración es correcta, pero no tiene onda. Por ejemplo, tratábamos de no cenar ahí porque le falta "ambiente": no hay música, la luz es solo cenital, no hay velas, etc.

A praia de Araçatiba foi uma agradável surpresa. Fora do “agito” da Vila de Abraão, é um excelente ponto de saída para passeios do lado de fora da ilha, ou outras praias. A pousada LaCoquille é uma entre as várias opções. Quartos limpos, café da manhã na linha do básico, mas com reposição demorada. Aliás, o cheiro da comida feita na Pousada chega em todos os quartos, pois não há um simples exaustor na cozinha. Não há um aviso sobre a não reposição de toalhas limpas, mesmo para estadias superiores a 3 dias…tem que pedir todos os dias. O atendimento poderia ser melhor. Exemplo: você mesmo pega as bebidas na geladeira e marca num bloco de notas. Mas, na hora de pagar a conta, lhe cobram os 10% do serviço (!!!). Enfim, pela falta das opções, o turista é “esfolado”… Resumo: custo x benefício não me parece justificável. É uma pena, pois a vista é muito bonita…

Passamos um tempo incrível no La Coquille. Estava tudo super! Francisco e Ricardo são ótimos anfitriões, ambos falam muito bem inglês. Comemos no restaurante deles todos os dias porque a comida é deliciosa. Estão localizados na parte imaculada da praia de Araçatiba e o nosso quarto tinha uma vista maravilhosa. Definitivamente recomendamos e voltaremos com certeza.
