Utterly poor management! Utterly poor clients’ assistance from Managerial perspective! Manager Jakov is not there to solve the quests’ issues, but for adding additional problems and worries. I did not want to get personal, yet this gentleman did not leave us a chance to leave a nice review here. We’ve booked a spacious room with a king size bad and a bath. Initially, we’ve got accommodated into a tiny room - totally different from what we’ve booked - with no prior notice. When we’ve informed the gentleman on the reception desk, he tried to help us out, yet there were no rooms up to the standards we’ve booked due to fact, they had some issues with canalization. Guests need to be informed in advance in cases like that! We’ve talked to a Manager in the morning, Mr Jakov seemed to be very busy, hence we had to wait. Once we described the situation, he assured us, he will fix the issue by the evening. What we were promised: 1. a nicer room up to the standards we’ve booked 2. a refund for the inconveniences caused by Hotel’s discrepancy What we’ve got: 1. actually a bigger and a really nice room , yet there was an unbearable strong vinegar smell there 2. no bath in the bathroom 3. no information regarding the refund We came back to conversations on a reception desk, they had no other rooms to offer, therefore we stayed in the old smaller room and were promised, the Manager will be there in the morning to discuss it further. We’ve also asked the staff to notify the Manager, we’re going to talk to him in the morning, so he can make a space for us and prepare some solutions. Jakov did not show up in the morning. Accordingly, we’ ve presented the issue to the 5th person from the reception desk. We were not shared the Manager’s contact details as we wanted to contact him ourselves, yet got assured, we will get the nicer room in the evening. In the evening we’ve got the same room with a strong vinegar smell again. We’re staying till 22d October and wanted to grasp the Higher Management attention to the the way the Manger is treating the Guests. We had to waste our precious time on: - Endless discussions on the front desk with different people - Looking for a Manager Jakov, as if he was the major Prague’s tourist attraction :) - Moving our stuff from one room to another several times - Dealing with a vinegar smell with perfume and palo santo - Mastering the art of a strong will and patience during vacations - Writing the negative review Dear Higher Management, I kindly ask you to pay more attention to the way your Clients are treated, and provide some trainings for the Manager on how not to escape from the problems and get things done. We’re expecting apologies and a significant refund.

Great hotel in a lovely quiet area, 15 minutes to the old town/bridge by tram. Had a room on the 4th floor which was clean and light, beds comfortable and fantastic shower. Check in at reception was easy and they were helpful in giving you all the info you need for your stay. They will also help with any trips or sightseeing. Our room was cleaned every day but if this doesn't happen, just ask at reception. Great continental breakfast with good choice of rolls, cheeses, hams, eggs, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, pastries etc. and plenty of coffee. The public transport system is subsidized by the Czech government so over 65s are free and 60-65s tram/bus tickets are half the price. Their bus/tram system is brilliant and the best way to see Prague so using Google Maps (which is a godsend) you can go to all the sights by tram/bus. I bought 3 day tickets from the yellow machines at the airport and each day you use one, just validate it at the tram/bus stop or on the tram/bus and it stamps it for 24 hours use, just keep your passport with you to confirm your age (we never saw any inspectors). As I'm 60 it cost me 180 Czech krona (£6.50) for 3 days travel. We also used public transport from and to the airport and although it took 50 minutes, it saved us a fortune (taxis can be anything between £30-£40.00). The tram stop is round the corner at the bottom of the hill from the hotel. We could leave our bags at the hotel after we checked out so we went to the lovely park across the road for a couple of hours. If you want a lovely meal and great beer, we found a little gem called the Beer Spot which is 6 minutes walk from the hotel. There's a lovely shopping mall about 5 minutes walk Nový Smíchov Shopping Centre, which has all the brands you could want and a Tescos. Would definitely use this hotel for Prague again.

Excellent room with a small kitchenette. Very comfortable and cozy. Walking distance from Tram and market. It's like a home. Only one thing, I reached here late in the evening and to find the entrance was a challenge and to get in, there is no sign board and had to call up to find

I'ai aimé séjourner dans l'hôtel When we arrived we entered the first hotel from which a telephone takes to our hotel From this cable because we have an impressive view of the city Idem for the room that was impeccable with large bathroom and view of the whole city of Prague Well air-conditioned hotel With very good litter and earrings Calm down In the vegetable Penitentiary staff Grand pool : attention the stairs to get down there are a little dangerous it's a bad thing Jaccuzzi very functional Sauna The Plus : the wellness opening hours Morning : Great continental buffet with some culinary specialities in the region The rooms are very comfortable and very comfortable. The evening: Italian dinner a little cheap but worth the coup On the location we are only 5 minutes walk from bus and tram stops for the old town and visits I recommend a 100% and we will come back !!

So far not impressed with this hotel. Upon check in, clerks were not helpful at all. Traveling as a couple and given a room with single beds. Asked if we could have a single larger bed the response was “ call house keeping and see if they can move the beds together.” Then got to the room and realize the beds are attached to the wall with a permanent night stand in between. Next, wanted to order from room service. The “app” which is just a link to a website, will NOT load, so we literally cannot order from the “online room service” — the only option to order. Tried to connect with the computer, and that didn’t work either. Also was told their is a fridge in the room and you can order items to stock it. Again app won’t load. Also no fridge in room. Wi-Fi is also very week. Zoom business call kept disconnecting. Only given one pillow per bed. Called down to front desk and requested two more. Was told housekeeping would bring them. And hour later, called again since no pillows arrived. We were told housekeeping is closed and they can only take requests in the morning. (This was all before 10 pm.) Looking for other hotel options for the remainder of our stay.

Loved this hotel, me and my partner visited this hotel 21st of march until friday 24th as a couple from wales in the UK on a budget we booked this as it was central and really good value for money, from the moment we arrived we felt really comfortable check in was swift and straight forward and the lady who checked us in was nice and polite, to be honest all the staff were so welcoming and lovely. The rooms was basic but very clean and comfortable, the lifts could be frustrating but no big deal but i would have easily walked to 3rd floor but didnt see any stairs to do so, breakfast was enjoyable and plenty of it, the bar area had a really lovely atmosphere and a good pint of starapromen for a good price. We were out most of the day enjoying the sites of this amazing city and evenings enjoying the bars and restaurants around the hotel and further across the bridge. Can honestly say it was an amazing first visit to prague and not the last hopefully, will definetly reccomend this hotel and hope to visit again one day..děkuji
