Plaza Prague Hotel - Czech Leading Hotels

I highly recommend Hotel Plaza, a few tram stops from next to the hotel, to the center. As a result, it is a bit quieter, and at the same time quite close to the old town. The hotel staff speaks many languages, so it is easy to communicate if someone knows a language other than Polish. If we have a larger car, we can easily park it in a nearby parking lot, about 200m from the hotel. Rooms clean, cleaned every day. Very good breakfast, a large selection, for sure everyone will find something for themselves. Super desserts: D. If you want to spend a few days in Prague, don't hesitate!

The stay was perfect as always. However, I was dissatisfied by the attitude of the receptionist when I checked out and asked for a possibility to go for breakfast earlier (6:40). She was not willing to go and ask their colleagues. I was just told it is impossible. I know that it is possible since I stayed at the hotel many times. Finally, a very nice waitress came and let me in earlier. BTW, she is the kindest person in your hotel I know and your creamy egg spread is really toothsome!
Mama Shelter Prague

My spouse, my friends, and I stayed 2 nights for Canada Day weekend at Mama Shelter prague. It's in a great location, short transit to old Town Prague with multiple ways of getting there. Bolt, scooters, tram, or even walking works as well. Staff was friendly, except for when we got back to our hotel room on Saturday night. The door was left open by house keeping and luckily nothing was stolen. A woman staff member at the front didn't believe what I told her, so we showed her and said something would be done about it. Upon checking out, there were no notes, and nothing was done. So definitely a lack of professionalism by the night staff. Breakfast was excellent with alot of choices. It's a buffet and is open from 7am to 1030am most days. Food was fresh and 0 issues. The room was clean and spacious. King size bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was okay, but could've been better. 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms. So it was a comfortable stay for us. Overall, definitely worth the money you pay to have everything included. I still believe the hotel parking should be included into the price like in North America.

This hotel was exactly as advertised on Booking.Com. It is not in Old Town, but just a few tram stops away. It is so seldom that you find a room for 3 adults…it was comfortable and so well priced, even though it was the Easter Weekend! It was a peak long weekend, so there were issues over breakfast time, but we ate in the restaurant at dinner time and enjoyed their delicious food and good service. A really good plus, is the parking garage for guests! The staff are also very friendly and helpful!
Belvedere

Stayed at the Belvedere for 5 nights in February. The room which we upgraded to executive was lovely with everything we needed, the breakfast was extremely good with plenty of choice, staff were friendly and there were enough restaurants & bars close by. I celebrated a big birthday whilst there and on returning to our room that day there was a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us with compliments from the director, which was a really nice touch. We had drinks at the hotel bar a couple of nights, and the prices were reasonable for a hotel! All in all a very good hotel.

An unhappy return after 10 years. Everything was just as I had left it, like going back in time except with more damage and wear and tear, while the price has doubled. Breakfast was pretty bad, I did not find anything that looked appealing and instead I went around the corner to a supermarket. The furniture has seen better days, it's time for a change unless they want to turn it into a 1990 museum. Management seems to have gone away and the place appears to be run by raccoons - had an issue with the bill and weeks later it still has not been resolved (made a reservation change, they confirmed it but still billed me for the original dates). The place needs new management and a total renovation - the pictures on the website do not look anything like this hotel. On the plus side the location is decent, especially if they don't have a major event in the sporting/concert hall that the hotel is located in. It's OK as an alternative to a hostel or if there is an incredibly good price, but otherwise there are better alternatives in Prague.
