I traveled alone to Prague, and booked a golden well two days before and after the birthday; this hotel is awesome! I also lived in A***. The service level of this hotel is no different from A***; as they say, treat their guests like kings.... When checking in, there was a welcome juice. The receptionist was very enthusiastic to help me draw a recommended route on the map; the uniforms worn by the reception staff were very classical and refined; Room11 is a 24-hour public service room with internet access and free coffee; the paintings on the wall are also great! I lived in Room14, and when I opened the window, I could see the famous green dome and red-top building; I could hear the bell ringing on the church; wifi was very fast; The bathroom is made of Molton Brown toiletries, an old-fashioned service provider for the British royal family; the bath and toilet are Duravit, the toilet and the toilet, the smart flush is very good; The hotel's restaurant has one of the best views of Prague, but it's very difficult to book, so make a reservation in advance, while enjoying the food while overlooking the entire Old Town of Prague, listening to music is really super enjoyable; but the price is also in line with the top restaurants in Prague; My birthday afternoon hotel prepared a birthday cake for me, it was really a surprise, the cake tastes great! Overall very good! Location: Although not in the old city, but the surrounding is very quiet, Prague law and order is also good, although no one but feels very safe, and although on the river side, but close to the Grand Palace, walk to the Charles Bridge for 5 minutes. Awesome hotel! If you want to experience the European court fan, this hotel will never let you down! The entire hotel, whether it is architecture or interior decoration and furniture, is completely European court style, luxurious retro atmosphere. The hotel is ideally located, about 10 minutes walk from Castle Hill. The staff was polite and had a welcome drink and towel when staying. The breakfast was very generous and there was a wine tasting and cheese reception every afternoon. The customer relationship manager is very nice and gave a small gift when checking out. The next time I go to Prague, I will also prefer this hotel. Self-driving friends need to pay attention, because the hotel is on the edge of the US consulate, so the security check in and out is more strict, and the hotel can only be parked by the hotel.

I stayed in this hotel with my friend and we loved it. The rooms are so cute and nice and everything was cleaned really well, even the carpet floor. The employees were very nice and patient with us. Not only is the hotel amazing it’s also in a convenient location with the subway and tram right down the street and only a 30 min walk to the old town square. All in all really simple but beautiful nonetheless and it helped us fall in love with Prague and the people there. We will definitely come back again!

So far not impressed with this hotel. Upon check in, clerks were not helpful at all. Traveling as a couple and given a room with single beds. Asked if we could have a single larger bed the response was “ call house keeping and see if they can move the beds together.” Then got to the room and realize the beds are attached to the wall with a permanent night stand in between. Next, wanted to order from room service. The “app” which is just a link to a website, will NOT load, so we literally cannot order from the “online room service” — the only option to order. Tried to connect with the computer, and that didn’t work either. Also was told their is a fridge in the room and you can order items to stock it. Again app won’t load. Also no fridge in room. Wi-Fi is also very week. Zoom business call kept disconnecting. Only given one pillow per bed. Called down to front desk and requested two more. Was told housekeeping would bring them. And hour later, called again since no pillows arrived. We were told housekeeping is closed and they can only take requests in the morning. (This was all before 10 pm.) Looking for other hotel options for the remainder of our stay.

Super location. Walkable to most of the main tourist attraction. Lots of restaurants and cafe surrounding. Closed to tram and train station. Grocery also round the corner. The hotel is pretty old. Breakfast is standard, not as good as other hotel I stayed in Prague before. I got a room in building C, which quite long way to go and need to change lift to get to the room. Good point is super quiet room.

We spent a week here. The exterior of the hotel is reminiscent of the communist era, but the interior of the hotel will make you forget it quickly, so don't be intimidated by the hotel's exterior. The room was clean and very big, the interior was very nice and comfortable. We checked into this hotel with a Firefly voucher at a very reasonable price. The voucher includes hotel breakfast. For a 3-star hotel, this choice is very correct, so we are symmetrically satisfied. The waiter's service is also very good, our check-in and check-out procedures are very fast. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. One night we decided to try to finish our meal a la carte in the hotel restaurant and we were really amazed by the quality of the meal and the quality of the food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is delicious. We had the best risotto in all of Prague. Recommend everyone to try it.

I was glad the hotel has an elevator. We had a nice room with a charming old fashioned look to it. It has two twin beds shoved together. Instead of blankets it has two comforters. It has a nice wooden, real desk, a wooden armoire and several wooden tables. The bathroom is all tiled and very roomy. It has a bathtub with a shower wand. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast buffet. There is quite a variety of foods to chose from. Seating is in several small rooms with a couple of tables in each. It was very nice. Even though there is a tram stop in front of the hotel we had Uber take us around. It was just a little more than taking the tram and dropped you off wherever you wanted. Unfortunately there are not any restaurants nearby.

Abbiamo pernottato per tre notti, avendo prenotato due camere. Ottima è la posizione, infatti la metro è ad appena 50 metri dall’albergo. Gli ambienti sono puliti e molto spaziosi. In particolare le camere, con ampio bagno privato, sono ampie, climatizzate, con moquette e frigo bar. L’ambiente risulta silenzioso. L’unica pecca è la mancanza di tende pesanti, per cui al mattino filtra la luce dall’esterno. Cortese e solerte il personale alla reception e alla sala colazioni. Riguardo quest’ultima, a mio avviso, potrebbe essere migliorata in varietà e qualità dei prodotti.

If you don't have a car, it's better to take Uber. It will be difficult to bring your luggage to the hotel. If you have a car, there is no place to park in the hotel. You have to park on the street, but we paid 18 euros to the hotel. When I checked in, the hotel staff informed me of the city hall site and said that I could pay for parking, but I could only pay in units of max 1 hour. I paid for 1 hod not knowing that it was 1 hour and only lost 80czk. When I told the hotel staff about this, the hotel told me that there was a spot available for parking until 12:00 the next day, and then I took it for 18 euros. Great location for visiting Prague castle and monasteries. Although the hotel is old, it has been remodeled inside and is clean. Soap, shampoo, body wash, and body lotion are also available. There is a refrigerator and air conditioning, and the breakfast is quite good. The staff was on standby 24 hours a day, so there was nothing inconvenient except for parking.

The location was great. The castle/palace was just 10 minute walk up the hill. Down the hill was Charles bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects to old and new Prague. The history of the hotel was great, but if you need space the room we were given won’t work. It was very cramped. Couldn’t stand up on one side of the room. No drawers to store lingerie. On the other hand The bathroom was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Oh we had to hunt for plugs and no USB ports. We’d stay again but ask for a room like the picture🙂

Just returned from a really enjoyable 4 night stay at the Golden Wheel Hotel. Situated on the very picturesque Nerudova Strana in a quiet area of the city, half way up hill (so beware anyone with mobility issues). 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and 5 minutes to the Castle.(at the top of the hill). This is a relatively small and wonderfully quaint hotel with not very many rooms. We (2 couples) were in the top floor of the hotel with rooms opposite to each other. Rooms 411 and 412. This was perfect for us. Plenty of storage space in the rooms, large bathrooms. Room 412 had stand alone shower and 411 had a bath with shower over it. A kettle with a selection of teas and coffee available in the rooms. TIP if you are like me and enjoy English black tea then bring your own tea bags and purchase milk in a supermarket. There is a small fridge to store drinks etc. Hairdryer also available along with travel size Shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads/buds and shower caps. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We were able to get directions/travel route and purchase our tram tickets from reception. Breakfast was perfect for us. Selection of cereal, fruit, spreads. Croissants, bread/toast, pastries, scrambled egg, frankfurters, cold meats and cheese along with fruit juices and tea/coffee. Lactose free and almond milk were provided by hotel. Breakfast was 8am - 9.30 am. We stayed over St Valentines Day and there were two little loveheart boxes of chocolates left by the hotel in our rooms. Very nice touch♥️ Rooms were very warm but there is an air con system if you need it.
