Witt Kopf
I stayed in this hotel at the end of December and it was very nice. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast buffet is a bit sp****, but very good. It takes about 35 minutes to walk to Republic Square in the city center from here, but you can also get there by bus (like 207?). The hotel has a fenced parking lot, which costs 15 Euros, or parked on the side of the road like us (free parking for two hours before 6 pm on weekdays, and free on weekends)

Lesser Town
A lovely traditional hotel in a great location. The hotel is right at the end of the Charles bridge so it’s really easy to get to all of the main sights around the city. We couldn’t believe how quiet our room was considering it’s location. There was lots of choice at breakfast and we particularly appreciated the free tea and coffee that was available all day. The room was spacious, and toiletries and a hairdryer were available. Would recommend.

The location was great. The castle/palace was just 10 minute walk up the hill. Down the hill was Charles bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects to old and new Prague. The history of the hotel was great, but if you need space the room we were given won’t work. It was very cramped. Couldn’t stand up on one side of the room. No drawers to store lingerie. On the other hand The bathroom was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Oh we had to hunt for plugs and no USB ports. We’d stay again but ask for a room like the picture🙂

Old Town
Stayed for 3 nights, I didn't feel very good. I lived in the top floor of the previous two nights. There was a loft. The big bed was upstairs and the toilet was upstairs. I didn’t say that I climbed up and down every day, mainly because the attic was very short. Sleeping on the toilet should be slightly bent, not to mention my husband 178. He feels very painful! On the last day, I switched to the downstairs. I didn’t even have air conditioning. I was operating on an air-conditioning fan. It was very noisy. Fortunately, it rained down that day, otherwise I really don’t know how to sleep.

Old Town
Cons: The room was small and narrow, two people couldn't move around, boxes were forced into the bathroom (and so it was quite large), and after 8 or 9 a.m. there would be noisy staff in the courtyard. Advantages: Convenient location, just in front of the bridge in the alley entrance, very close to most attractions, can walk, there are many restaurants downstairs.

Nové Město
The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. However, there are dozens of other, better hotels in the area. This one is old, tired, and hasn’t been brought up to date since the 80’s. It’s not a horrible place but it’s not anywhere worth the money it cost (week between Christmas and New Year 2022 was $170 per night!!). We were expecting a much nicer place. The wardrobe area was so small that we could hang maybe 4 items. The bathroom didn’t have any sort of curtain or door or glass on the tub and the shower head sprayed about 180 degrees which inevitably soaked the entire bathroom, including the towels, the toilet paper and any clothes you may have brought in. And the floor was flooded. The carpet was at least 30 years old. The mattress was cheap and hard. The temperature in the room couldn’t be adjusted. The front desk staff didn’t speak very fluent English, and were rude. When our room got too cold and we couldn’t adjust the temp, I couldn’t call down to the front desk as the phone didn’t contain any instructions how to do so, and commonly used numbers, 0 or 9, didn’t work. So I had to call them using their outside phone number. When I did, the lady at the front desk barely understood me when I told her the room is too cold and could they send someone to fix the heat? She said “no one here to fix” and hung up on me. I called back and told her that I am a guest here and my room is too cold and to get someone up here to fix it or send us more blankets. That she understood and sent us more comforters. A solution, but not the ideal one. I don’t recommend anyone stay here.
