We visited the restaurant/ bar on the same site as this Residence Dvorak ,but for some reason Tripadvisor fails to locate this place. We were lucky to find this place as our nearby hotel offered very little choice of evening food. The restaurant/ bar we visited many times and each time the welcome was excellent with great service . Staff remembered our drinks from previous visits. The quality and price of the food and drink also excellent. Food and drink very good with a good choice. Staff made this place really special. Highly recommended and will certainly visit when back in Prague.

We didn’t experience a good stay as expected. Very steep and curvy steps , no elevator. No air conditioning, impossible in summer . Our suite , Petrin , was very high on 2 floor , badly designed with separate 2 rooms and long corridor between them . Blazing sun all afternoon which makes it impossible to stay in room . No basic hotel services like room cleaning . Coffee machine but only small espresso cups . Part time reception service and breakfast available only from 0900 . Very disappointing though location is great by the Karl bridge.

After a fumble at check in, the experience was perfect. The room was quiet, clean, spacious and nicely updated. It is steps from the Charles Bridge-on the quieter side of the river. You are within walking distance to everything with restaurants, bars, grocers, and sites within steps. Negative: no service desk, so we were left without a key at checkin. Had to call another hotel to get someone to come and let us in. No breakfast, but a cafe below. No tea mugs ( but they provide a kettle), just tiny espresso mugs, steep, winding stairs to room which were pitch dark at night. Positive: it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. Large windows that open, espresso maker/pods, large queen bed with very large full sized sofa pull out bed, Loccitane toiletries ( no conditioner), lots of pillows and nice linens, and modern bathroom. Slept peacefully every night!
