Hotel Prokop Square

I lost the getting luggage ticket and I returned to hotel to get a new ticket. However, I told the male staff I would not lost it, and he replied “We shall see” at 1300 hr on 2024-07-09.

As a regular visitor to Prague I have always stayed in or around the Old Town Square or Lesser Town. On this occasion I decided to stay in Zizkov for a change of scenery and particularly as the Hotel rates are quite competitive. I chose Hotel Prokop Square based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. Situated on the lower end of Zizkov, it's just across the road from the Karlin underpass and Vitkov Hill and is convenient for all the bars and restaurants in the area. It's also about a 15 minute walk from the Zizkov TV tower which features the David Cerny crawling babies sculptures. The hotel is handy for the tram stops at Lipanska and Viktoria Zizkov, while the nearest Metro station is Flora underneath the Flora shopping mall and Cinema City. The Hotel staff are friendly and professional and my room was spotlessly clean and attended to daily. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of variety. Fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, yogurt, toast and of course a cooked option of bacon and eggs, some mornings they also had potatoe wedges. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and juices are also available and a honey pot if you like to add a taste of honey to your cereal. I don't often stay in the same Hotel twice but I will stay here again on my next visit to Prague in the first half of next year. Totally recommended and thank you to all the staff for making my staff comfortable.

This hotel is amazing! Definitely and clearly is there for any kinds of visit. We were in Prague for our first ever visit, mainly for the NHL Global series! The room was lovely, with separation from the bathroom/bedroom aspect to allow the privacy of each. The room was clean and welcoming, with a welcome note from the hotel manager, complimentary bottles of water. The room was also equipped with the standards you'd expect with a hotel, but the little extra touches with the complimentary water as aforementioned as well as being fitted with a mini fridge, and a smart TV in which we took advantage of the Netflix service on the TV for when in the hotel. There is also an app when in the hotel communal areas to order a selection of soft/hot/alcoholic beverages, with clear indication of a restaurant in the hotel, however due to what our personal plans were for each day, we didn't eat there. However any orders we did place, we bought to us by the reception staff in a polite and professional manner. As for location, there was a 5 minute walk to the tram service we used, there was a couple of shops/supermarkets within a stones throw to get all the essentials you may need.

EXCELLENT!!!! WE ARE FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!! GARDEN IS VERY NICE AND YOU CAN HAVE THERE A REST TIME WITH YOUR FRIENDS!!!!! BREAKFAST IS VERY TASTY ,ROOMS ARE PERFECT FOR FAMILIES!!!!!!!! RECEPTIONISTS ARE VERY HELPFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful break in Prague which was made all the better by staying at this beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful , nothing was too much trouble. A special mention goes to Alex who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and without doubt when we visit Prague again we will choose to once again stay here. 10/10

Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel itself is located a little bit away from the main tourist attractions, so a little bit of guidance from front dest and the help of Google meant we felt like locals in no time. Great selection of breakfast, friendly staff, and very modern + tidy rooms. Staff super friendly at the frond desk, and always happy to help! Room a little warm at times (especially during the night), and no way of really adjusting preferred temp. The lowest it would go was 19 degrees unfortunately. The door also kept making this beeping noise - unsure if something to do with the smart lock, would have been good to have an additional lock for when inside the room just to feel a little more safe/at ease. Overall a pleasant stay!

Hotel situated in Prague 3 Clean and beautiful rooms, not overpriced either Staff were accommodating and friendly and were more than happy to recommend bars and restaurants to us😊 Approximately 30 minutes onwards to walk to the main attractions of Prague (I.e Old Town Square), however everything is easily accessible via Uber which is cheap We enjoyed our stay here

After a recent conversion, the hotel initially impresses. I had booked a superior room and on arrival, I requested a room on a high floor. Reception informed me that no superior rooms are situated on high floors and so they could not help me with my request. I later checked on hotel booking sites and superior rooms were being offered on high floors, on the dates I was staying, in this same hotel. I can only assume that it was too much bother for the staff to change my room, on their system. I did not appreciate being lied to. The room given to me was not the biggest but the bed was comfortable, it had a coffee machine and the bathroom had a nice shower with plentiful hot water. However, there was no desk or even a chair in the room. Netflix was provided on the TV which is a welcome addition to the usual rubbish channels available. The mirrors were awkwardly placed in the room and the bathroom mirror, although large, was difficult to use for shaving as the bathroom lights failed to shine enough light onto it. The bathroom could also have done with a shelf as there was nowhere to put anything. A smaller sink would have helped, here. The toiletries provided were of good quality which is a big tick from me. Breakfast was among the best I have had in Prague but I should imagine the room gets very congested once it gets busy so get there early. The pods provided for the coffee machine were a random selection with only one decaf and I returned to find my room untouched at 1530pm, on my first full day, and so went to reception to ask for more coffee pods. Once again my request was denied as I was told more pods would be provided when the room was cleaned. Within five minutes a cleaner arrived and I managed to obtain the pods I wanted rather than the random collection I had inherited. She didn't speak English (not an issue) and so I returned to reception to request an earlier clean each day as I am a little older and like an afternoon nap. You guessed it, denied and told that the room wouldn't be cleaned before 1530 every day. The attitude of the reception staff spoiled my stay and staff in the other 18 hotels I have stayed in Prague have always been more helpful. It didn't help when on my initial arrival, I was asked whether I might be in the wrong hotel and should possibly be staying in their cheaper, sister hotel situated around the corner. Maybe you're only welcome here if you arrive wearing a suit.
