Our stay at Domaine de L'Ocrerie was both soothing and profoundly compelling. Our curiosity, piqued by the ornate curation of the premises, was well attended to. We were hosted with a tenderness that gave us the agency to unwind fully. Mealtime was a real delight. The attention to detail and consideration given to many local ingredients was on full display. The modern Nuage suite we stayed in was spacious and had the utility of separate niches for different sleeping arrangements. The vaulted ceiling's grandness was matched by a wall-to-wall adorning bespoke artwork. The same juxtaposition of a sleek remodel accenting the rustic history featured throughout the charming house. It is a true gem elevating not only with dedication a host of exhibited artists, but the already bucolic Burgundy countryside to an esteemed primary destination.

A last minute change in travel plan brought us to Domaine de l'Ocrerie for 3 nights in September. It was such an idyllic setting to come back to after long days exploring the Burgundy countryside. The beautifully decorated house offered a glimpse into the owners' passion for art and travels. We had the Pondicherie suite with lovely authentic Indian furniture and accents. Cathy and Gilles were charming hosts who treated us to insightful details of the domaine's history and their love for the art. All Cathy's recommendations for restaurants in the area were spot on. We ate very well :) Thank you Cathy and Gilles for welcoming us into your house. We hope to be back soon to Burgundy, and for sure to Domaine de L'Ocrerie!

It’s the art of noticing each and every single piece of the place (and there was a lot to discover from an art exhibition, great interior design, porcelain, delicious home made food etc.) which gives you an incredible peace immediately after entering the red gate! The hosts are pure gold and Cathy&Gilles made my stay an unforgettable experience which filled my heart with pure pleasure and joy! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your very warm welcome, the lively and inspiring conversations and the incredible evening you prepared for my friends and me which will never be forgotten! Merci beaucoup and for sure it was not the last time I visited you!

Ein wunderbares Landhaus mit viel Kunst innen und aussen und einem riesigen Park drumherum. Wir hatten ein herrliches Zimmer, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit einem übergrossen Bad. Stilvoll möblierte Räume mit viel Kunst überall - auch im Park viele lauschige Sitzgelegenheiten; man spürt im ganzen Anwesen förmlich die Liebe zum Detail. Gilles und Cathy sind ganz wunderbare herzliche Gastgeber - herrliches Frühstück und auch am Abend wurden wir zweimal mit einem 3 Gang Menü ganz köstlich bekocht. Die Bilder sprechen für sich… Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gut erreichbar - Gilles und Cathy stehen auch hier gern mit Rat und Prospektmaterial zur Seite. Insgesamt ein toller kurzweiliger Aufenthalt bei dem es an nichts gefehlt hat!

J’ai passé un magnifique week-end au Domaine de l’Ocrerie. L’accueil de Cathy et Gilles a été des plus chaleureux. On se sent comme à la maison et on hésite pas un instant à s’installer dans un des confortables canapés pour lire au coin du feu (la maison regorge de livres). En plus on est entourés par les œuvres d’art aux horizons divers qui créent tout un univers à explorer. J’ai reçu plein de recommandations de visite et me suis régalée avec un petit déjeuner et un dîner délicieux. Et je me suis fait conter les histoires du lieu. Ma chambre était splendide et j’ai même eu la chance de voir des biches au réveil se promener dans le jardin. En d’autres mots, je recommande vivement et de mon côté, il est certain que je reviendrai :-)

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans la suite au Domaine de l'Ocrerie avec nos 2 petits enfants. Nous avions choisi cette maison d'hôtes pour sa proximité avec le château de Guedelon. Magnifique maison avec des hôtes aux petits soins pour nous et les enfants. Nous avons pu profiter du parc pour le repas du soir . N’hésitez pas à vivre cette expérience ! Nous reviendrons sûrement pour visiter la maison de Colette .

Accueil chaleureux et sympathique dans cette très belle demeure, très bien décorée, où l'Art prend sa place. Cathy est très attentive à ses hôtes et aux petits soins pour eux. Elle nous a donné plein de conseils pour profiter de la région (visites et restaurants). Nous étions dans la chambre Yellow grey, avec en décor le portrait de Colette sur des livres, dessiné par Gilles, superbe ! Petits déjeuners et dîners excellents. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

De passage, pour une nuit, nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part de nos hôtes, dans cette demeure magnifique où se mêlent l'art et l'histoire de passionnés. Un apéritif près du feu, un savoueux diner préparé avec amour, une belle nuit dans une chambre magnifique et un superbe petit déjeuner..tout était parfait !
