When traveling to Australia, expect the best hotel. After checking in, it really lived up to my expectations and left a very good impression on me. We were upgraded to the most luxurious room type for free, with a bathtub, balcony, and a super large area. The hotel is located in a deep alley, quiet and low-key; the hotel has a strong sense of history and the design of materials is very solid. The breakfast is perfect, the bedding is perfect, the environment is perfect, it’s perfect!

Stayed here for 2 nights during our Australia trip at Victorian terrace suite. Room size and in room amenity was great, however cockroach was found in the room but quickly been deal with by staff. Bedding does not have proper duvet - it was sheet plus two layers of blankets. Parking was reserved and conveniently located on the back of the hotel, however it was very challenging to access parking lot when you come back late, as receiption close at 10pm. Breakfast was a la cart with several hot options, it would be great to add some pastry!

We stayed in two rooms at the hotel sandwiched between a couple of nights at the Spicers Sangoma Retreat. We really enjoyed our stays. The hotel is in a great location - much more atmospheric than staying in the CBD and still only a 40 minute walk to the Opera House. The hotel is set in three Victorian terrace houses nestled amongst other lovely old buildings and the whole of Potts Point has a relaxed vibe that is taken through into the hotel, both by the furnishings and the friendliness of all of the staff. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, though I do prefer a buffet (rather than a la carte).

We visited the hotel on November 24. It is an incredibly nice hotel, an older building which has been thoroughly modernized to a very high standard. It provides atmosphere and modern facilities. The hotel is slightly set back in quiet surroundings, but only 300 m to Kings Cross and close to the subway. Since the hotel only has 20 rooms, you feel that the staff know you and are incredibly sweet and service minded. We have visited many hotels, including 5-star ones, but Spicers Potts Point is something very special. Thanks from Ruth and Martin - Denmark

This property is very comfortable. The room we stayed in was well laid out . The breakfasts were good. The staff were so helpful to first time visitors to Sydney. The way this property has been converted must make the architect very proud. I would recommend Spicers as a place to stay.

We loved everything about Spicer Potts Hotel in Sydney. A warm welcome from Lana with lots of information about local restaurants ( also in a lovely booklet). We tried Apollo, the Butler and Fei Jei all outstanding for food and service so the hotel knowledge was invaluable. Our room 19 was wonderful, we thought for comfort and pillows the best hotel bed ever ( we have travelled widely so feel qualified to make this judgement ). The staff were so lovely, friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast freshly cooked to order and truly delicious. We love walking and the route into the main attractions via the Botanic gardens each day was lovely. The neighbourhood has some lovely old buildings and felt safe. Special thanks to Lana who we loved though all the staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would revisit. Five days was not long enough.

Visited Spicers for a few nights at the end of our adventure in Australia. Lovely boutique hotel just outside of the busy city. Rooms are generous and well appointed. Service is excellent. We enjoyed the daily breakfast menu and happy hour. Would absolutely stay here or at another Spicers property again. Charming, in a very good way.
