We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, check in was quick and easy. Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable with plenty pillows. No complaints! We will stay here again on future trips to Potsdam. Our son attends nearby Clarkson University, and this motel is within 5 minutes of the college.

My husband and I visited friends up north for 5 days and we stayed in the Scottish Inns in Potsdam for 4 nights. The motel room was spotless; which we really appreciated. The owners were lovely, and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. There is an amazing gift store directly across the street to browse.

Quaint Stay Convenient location. Ok price. Small room. Very loud neighbors especially at 6 in the morning. Loud vehicles! Was ok for what I needed but got very little sleep.

Affordable, clean, and well maintained This was my third time staying here within the past year. Each time I have found the rooms to be simple but very clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. The breakfast is light and limited but adequate. The owners are friendly. Many of the rooms are on the smaller side but it's ideal because I am usually solo and doing work while I'm in town. I would recommend the Scottish Inn as a clean, affordable, and well-maintained facility. I expect to be staying there again soon.
