Hotel Gran Libertador

Functional 3 star hotel in this dusty town. Beds comfortable but hard pillows. Simple breakfast consisting of breads, cakes and different varieties of teas. Helpful Reception Staff, hotel centrally located just of main squares, beware of altitude!

Stayed here on our GAdventures tour of SA. Rooms were a mix of huge suites to standard rooms! Slept well good WiFi and okay location. The lunch at arrival is pants though so get some food out in the town! Hotel has a water refill station in the waiting area for you to drink. Can pay them a set fee to fill unlimited times.

Stayed here as part of our g adventures tour. Nice hotel, good location. Nice view to mine. Room was a little warm - but windows with good ventilation WiFi strong Nice breakfast - plenty choice Laundry service available - very affordable and quick.

Just spent one night here as part of our G adventures tour. Our room was very small- we stayed in room 120. The water in the shower got cold very quickly. I had a hot shower and my husband had no hot water. This is a very noisy intersection- we had cars the whole night. try and ask for a room away from the street. Wifi was good. Breakfast was ok- just continental and they werent ready at opening time. Old deco in the rooms too- needs a bit of a revamp.

I booked 2 nights here and then when I arrived at 9pm after a stressful day of travelling I was told they were full so there was no room for me. I said I had a booking (through ***********) and they said they’d cancelled it because a higher priority reservation had come in that day. They hadn’t bothered to notify me of that at the time and they also were not at all apologetic, just told me to go to a different hotel. My friends were staying in this hotel so obviously I wanted to stay with them rather than in a random hotel alone. One of my friends was sick so had stayed in La Paz so her bed was free. I stayed in her bed, which she had paid for, and then when I left they charged me the full price for an individual room. I argued with them but they would not issue a refund. They therefore charged twice for the same bed which I only stayed in because they had so rudely cancelled my booking. Do not risk making a booking here.
