Cedar Crest Lodge

My husband and I did our second weekend at Cedar Crest, and once again, it was everything we hoped for. The amazing homemade breakfasts and dinners, the scrumptiously comfortable beds, the gorgeous landscaping and easy access to hiking trails, the stargazing, the hot tub, the sauna, the beautiful patio for sunsets, the views…it truly is an “escape,” but it’s so easy to get there! There’s also a beautiful swimming pool to lounge by in warmer weather. Each room has a coffee/tea maker, a little fridge and freezer, and a microwave. We had a distilled water dispenser, too. They provide complementary soft drinks, coffee, tea, cocoa…pretty much anything thirsty visitors might enjoy. There was even a package of microwave popcorn! The rooms are so comfortable, and each time I opened our door to the blooming tulips and gorgeous views, I would soak it all in with a smile. In addition to the in-room amenities, you can borrow board games, dominoes, card games, and grab a complementary snack from a room by the check-in area. We did their picnic lunch option Saturday afternoon, and it was delicious! They really do think of everything. Matt, Laura and the entire staff are incredibly attentive to everyone’s comfort, dining preferences, and favorite items: their attention to detail is outstanding. This visit was absolutely amazing. It’s an oasis. Everyone should experience this magical place.

My husband chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and time alone. We were beyond amazed of how wonderful this place is and how clean and cozy our room was. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and their customer service was excellent. The food was a heavenly experience and we were never hungry. Thank you so much, we will definitely return!

We felt so taken care of just pulling up on the first day of our stay because of the advanced planning and communication from the staff. The rooms are a beautiful getaway that exceed expectations from their website. The food is absolutely incredible and adds to your luxurious getaway staying on the property. The spa on the property allows you to escape and experience the ultimate relaxation. The staff is so welcoming, accommodating, and make you feel like a part of their family! We will definitely be returning!!

The food was wonderful! The people were very easy and nice. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet. We had some wonderful massages. It was definitely a good time for moomy and daughter time. We will definitely be back again in the future! Thank you!

We went there for a girl's weekend and had a blast! We so enjoyed the breathtaking view, the pool, the sauna and the DELICIOUS food. We have been raving about it and plan to go back next year! It was a restful retreat and I highly recommend it. Would be phenomenal for an anniversary getaway too!

To say that it was amazing, is an understatement! Not only are the owners so personal (calling you by name every time they saw you), but the entire staff was always smiling and asking if we needed anything. The food was simply delicious, and both breakfast and dinner were included in the cost! I was impressed with the attention to detail in the food, the well-maintained grounds, the details in the well-appointed rooms, I could go on and on. We spent three nights at the lodge to celebrate my wife's birthday, and she said it was the best birthday ever! We hiked on the trails, we laid by the pool, we did a couples massage which was incredible! Our room was Big Sky, and it was so comfortable and spacious. We had a small living room, and a huge bathroom with heated floors. All I can say is WE WILL BE BACK! It is not what you would expect to find in Pleasanton KS, and I toyed with not writing a review, as I don't want it to get crowded - but these owners have earned accolades, and more people need to find this hidden gem!
