Casa Albertina is a great hotel. The room was very comfortable with plenty of storage, the views were incredible. The breakfast was very good and the roof top bar for evening cocktails was outstanding. Special thanks go to Laura and Andrea for their extra service and to Mr. Cinque I believe it was for his help in straightening out a problem we had with a limosine service, calling cabs for us and making dinner reservations at some of the local restaurants. We will be back on our next visit to Positano.

My husband and I returned to Positano and once again stayed at Casa Albertina. Our wonderful vacation was made even better thanks to the kindness and assistance provided by the entire staff. Beginning with our delicious breakfast in the morning and ending with a drink on the rooftop bar at night, we were met with never ending smiles and wonderful conversation. We can’t wait to return again next year! By the way, the view from our balcony in room 37 was amazing! Mary M

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in early October 2024 while visiting the area. We had a hard time deciding between staying in Positano or basing our of another nearby location. In the end we were very happy with our decision. Positano is very busy during the day when a lot of day trippers come in via bus and ferry. However, if you're staying there you find it much quieter and calmer in the morning and evenings. It is certainly one of the more expensive areas to stay on the Amalfi coast but I felt like Casa Albertina provided something that, while pricier than other places we stayed in Italy, was not terribly expensive and allowed us to stay where we really wanted to be. Positano also sits in a good location with a short ferry ride to Amalfi and one of the shorter ferry rides to Capri. We found getting around the Amalfi coast to be a bit time consuming. Ferries were cancelled 10/3-10/5 due to rough seas which then puts a strain on the already crowded buses and taxis are not cheap and share the same busy narrow road with the buses. For this reason it's good to be in a place where you won't be disappointed if you have to unexpectedly stay there for the day and who could ever be disappointed with a day in Positano? Fortunately for us we made day trips to Capri on 10/1 and Amalfi / Ravello on 10/2 when the weather was great so we were unaffected but heard other disappointed couples. We booked a double superior room with sea view balcony and "sea view balcony" is quite the understatement. The view was unbelievable. It looked like a painting all times of day and night. The room includes a fridge with drinks that are reasonably priced so after getting a tour and shown to our room we immediately popped the Prosecco from the fridge and sat on our balcony. The view was so stunning my wife wiped tears away which might have been my favorite part of the trip. The hotel includes a sun deck with lounge chairs and the same incredible views. There is a rooftop bar open until 10pm where the drinks are again reasonably priced for Positano and for the unbelievable views and included snacks. Every member of the staff were very friendly and accommodating from check in to check out. The gentleman that gets espresso at breakfast was so kind and knew our order by day two. My wife asked him about one of the types of fruit they had that we had not seen before and after answering her question he came back to the table with a whole fresh one and a knife so we could eat a fresh one at the table. He then remembered and brought another one the next morning. I really wish I had gotten his name to call him out by name but he was working breakfast every morning from 10/1-10/4. While the balcony was the highlight the rest of the room was very nice and clean too. The bathroom and shower were maybe the largest I've seen in Europe which was a nice change of pace. The location was great for us. There are 71 steps down to the main road but that's the price you pay for th

We stayed here for three nights and had the water view room. The staff were very friendly and helped us with our luggage, which is a big plus since Positano has many stairs. They also helped us book a private transfer from Positano to Sorrento making our journey to our next destination easier on us. The rooms were clean, the location was great, and most of all the price for the stay was reasonable compared to other places in the area. Stay here if you are planning on staying in Positano.

I booked this hotel as a last minute side trip during our August 2 week family vacation. I could not find any other hotel last minute. I was worried about the steps mentioned in the reviews, but knowing that we are fit, I thought it would be easy anyway. I was wrong. it is a total of 460plus rough steps up to get to this property. its higher than the main road area but once you see the rooms with the balcony view, you will understand why its so worth the climb. My advise, if u are fit, book this hotel for that classic Postano cliff-side houses view that u can just stare at your entire time. One night though, our teen daughter wanted to go to Music on the Rocks in the beach to club, and climbing back up at 1:30AM slightly light headed was just very brutal. But the rooms, the service, the VIEW are all amazing. If u are fit, no reason for you to not stay here as you came to Positano for the views.

We loved this hotel. But let me warn you, it is quite a hike from the road to the entrance, steps and steps and steep steps and a tunnel. The porter carried our bags up. Our room had a terrace with table and chairs and an incredible view of Positano and the Mediteranean. It appeared that the spacious bathroom had recently been renovated. We ate breakfast on the terrace of the breakfast room. It was a buffet. The waiter took care of our coffees and took very good care of us. One of the best restaurants we ate at is right next door, da Vincenzo. We highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was unbelievable. They were able to accommodate all of our needs with ease. Breakfast was delightful. They had a nice area overlooking the town & sea which made for one of the best views I've had in a Breakfast setting probably ever. Room: the room was quaint [#33]. It was simple and that works. We had an absolutely spectacular view of Positano from our balcony. They had reasonable amenities. The reason we did not give 5 stars was because of the bathroom set-up. The shower was high off the ground so you had to take a higher than usual step up to get over and into the bathtub. Secondly, the shower head was at a poor angle and the maneuverability of the shower head made it difficult to shower on a daily basis. It was just uncomfortable. The water pressure and temperature were good however. Another reason we gave 4 out of 5 stars is because you could not bring outside food into the hotel. They did have room service, but we literally just wanted a take out pizza to enjoy in our room on the patio and that was not an option. The location was amazing. There are so many delectable restaurants within walking distance and it is about a 5 minute walk to get down to Spaggia Grande. Overall we had an amazing vacation and I'm happy overall with this hotel. We would stay here again. Thank you for a great experience. We were grateful for the opportunity.

This was such a great place, excellent location, and incredible views. We were so fortunate they upgraded our room which included a balcony. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and included breakfasts were simply breathtaking. Along with the staff being so nice and helpful. The steps up to the lobby are the only challenge if you bring heavy luggage. However, they do have people to help carry them up, which was a true blessing. We cannot wait to return.
