Most of all, staffs are great. Very friendly and helpful!
Li galli restaurant was exceptionally good. Thanks to chef Savio Perna and the sommelier, I had my best Italian food in my life!

The room does not match the advertised picture. In the photo, a white bathroom with a marble pattern. What resulted was a narrow gray-black bathroom. I booked 2 superior rooms with a friend. The rooms are clearly different. My room is just a very narrow balcony. It's uncomfortable for even two people to stand. But my friend, the adjoining room has a spacious balcony with 2 sets of sofa chairs to sit and relax. When I informed the hotel staff, they responded that because they wanted me to stay in a room next to a friend, they chose this room for me. It was a lower level room than what I paid. Not only that, the staff offered to upgrade me to a better room and I had to pay an additional 1000euro per night. I felt so sorry for myself for choosing this hotel. Not worth the money I paid at all. Even bringing your luggage to the hotel requires you to pay extra for this service. My friends and I walked up high and far from the ground. There was no impression in the room at all. And this hotel is at the highest point of the mountain, it is very difficult for you to walk to restaurants and grocery stores. An all designer experience on the very top of Positano. The hotel does have a hefty price tag (1000-1500eu/night) but is worth it if you are looking for a posh quiet place far enough from the flood of tourists visiting the village daily. Small hotel with rooms on the smaller end of the scale but extremely clean with attention to every detail. Breakfast is an experience in itself. Hotel staff is helpful and accommodating. The pool is an absolute treasure.

Just got back from my stay a HVF Villa Franca in Positano. The staff was absolutely wonderful and did everything to please us. Hotel was modern and beautiful. On the downside, getting around the hotel was difficult because of the never ending stairs. Snacks were quite expensive on the roof top and rooms although were very clean and pretty were small. The shuttle at the hotel was actually a. golf cart which made looking and staying pretty quite impossible.

Let’s just say you should consider yourself lucky to stay here.the views are perfect, hotel is elegant, the breakfast was A+++ and dinner dishes simply amazing. You won’t find a better view of Positano or a more eclectic, modern art collection in a hotel throughout the region. In rare occasions, hotels should receive a sixth star.. and this is one of them.

Wow! My wife and I are a bit of "fly by the seat of your pants" and booked HVF just two days before we arrived. I booked the cheapest room at the hotel and YES, the room is small, but it was more than we needed. I took a Zoom call from our small balcony and made everyone back in the states extremely jealous. I want to point out how amazing the staff was. They could not have been any friendlier and any more professional. The food was OUTSTANDING, the pool was incredible and the views are unimaginable but the staff was by far the highlight of our stay. We had no reservations for anything... we walked in with just our bags in hand and they took care of the rest. They booked our excursions, all of our restaurants and even our transfer to our Airbnb in Atrani. I know this seems like one of those reviews that sounds like maybe I'm being paid to write but I felt the need to share my heartfelt feelings about this hotel. We could only be so lucky to get a chance to stay with them again! It was killer.

We stayed here in May for 4 nights, the views from the hotel were fabulous. Our room was extremely small, staff were very friendly and helpful. It is maybe a 10-15 minute walk down steps to the centre of Positano (very steep) and you would need a level of fitness for this and very tough walk back up. The hotel do provide a shuttle service that runs every 30 mins (at certain parts of the day) you can hire a taxi but taxis are expensive (€35 each trip). Hotel was nice but in my option overpriced for what you are getting.

I recently stayed at Villa Franca, which is advertised as a five-star establishment, but my experience was far from five-star due to issues with the pool area. Firstly, the pool has umbrellas, but no shade. This is a significant oversight, especially for a luxury hotel where guests expect comfort and convenience. The lack of shade made it impossible for us to relax by the pool without being exposed to direct sunlight. The pool attendant refused to let me use an umbrella. I noticed that another group had an umbrella open, which made the situation even more frustrating and unfair. I don’t like to sit in the sun too long, so we couldn’t stay on the roof at all, which was very disappointing. I reported this issue to reception upon checking out, and they suggested I leave a review so management would be aware. Upon her suggestion, I hope management takes this feedback and makes the necessary improvements. Guests at a five-star hotel should expect better facilities and fair treatment.

Horrible experience. Absolutely don’t understand how this place warrants 5 stars. The atmosphere in and around the hotel is dead. The hotel is way too far from the hub of the town and right at the top of the hill. The rooms are horrendously small. Definitely not value for money for their location. Please stay at covo di Saraceni instead.
