Villa Celentano

We have just spent eleven nights at Villa Celentano and we cannot praise this family run hotel enough. Maria, Rafael and their two children Arcangelo and Anna did everything possible to make our holiday a memorable one. Initially we had one of the rooms with a gorgeous mezaine bedroom but which had a small balcony. Half way through our stay Maria realised that we enjoy spending time on a balcony reading, sunbathing and taking in the fantastic views. Without any prompting from us, Maria offered and then moved us to one of the hotel's fantastic rooms with a large balcony where we could do all of those things. The hotel has a real homely feel and Maria and her family work extremely hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They are really good at recommending places to visit and how to get there. On arriving back in the UK we realised that I had left an important key in our room there!!! Maria and Arcangelo have been wonderful in liaising with me via email and they have ensured that the key has been shipped to us!!! Fantastic, caring and friendly people who really look after their guests. We cannot praise this hotel and it's owners enough!!! The Amalfi coast is amazing and staying in Positano is wonderful but be prepared for the slopes and steps which can be very, very challenging!!

Enzo and his family were very hospitable and helpful with local information. Hotel is up hill and stairs make dealing with luggage difficult. Use local luggage porter. Villa has magnificent views over the bay. Very clean and roomy. Loved our stay here.

This is our 2nd time staying at Villa Celentano and we loved it just as much as the 1st! Maria and her staff takes amazing care of you. The breakfast was incredible and came all from her garden. Looked forward to our espresso every morning. We enjoyed our private balcony with the most amazing view of Positano!

Absolutely wonderful place in Positano. Maria and her husband are the sweetest people and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Absolutely spotless room with a stunning view from the balcony. Parking just below the property which was also a great help. The property is a good 20 minute walk into the centre/beach but there is so much you pass along the way so an enjoyable walk. Such a shame that we experienced torrential rain during our stay which made us cut it short but we will most definitely return to Positano and look forward to seeing Maria again. Do not hesitate to book this place as it is wonderful.

We had a fantastic time in positano at this villa! Maria and her family were so lovely and welcoming. They booked a transfer for us, had a great value for money breakfast and the accommodation was super clean and had all amenities. Wifi connection was great and the apartments are in a great location and easy to access from the main area. There are some steps to enter the villa however, positano is a city full of steps. The air conditioning worked well and we had a really comfortable stay on a traditional Italian build villa. Would highly recommend this accommodation!
