As with every hostel I've ever stayed in there's good and bad points for them all, and this place is no different. On the plus side in no particular order is the welcome you get from Vicky, large free lockers in the room, the hostel is very clean, and the metro and buses are only a three minute walk away. There's a kitchen for you to utilise, there's free tea and coffee when available, and there's a kettle, microwave and toaster at your disposal. There is no breakfast available, but they do leave out some cake and biscuits in the mornings along with two jugs full of coffee if you can work out how to use the machine. There's a decent sized lounge area with a big screen TV, I think there's only three or four rooms so only forty guests maximum. I found the shower and toilets to be clean and there was a working vent in there so it wasn't like a sauna. I was here in May and I only paid £57 for three nights. On the negative side in no particular order was my room was a little squashed, it was hot while I was there and the room did not have AC nor was there a fan available. Having the small window open was not adequate enough for ventilation. I found there to be not enough sockets in the room for everyone and some of them were in positions no where near your bed. There was also no privacy as the beds did not have curtains. The beds also did not have night lights which is a real bad one for me as every time someone comes in late they have to turn on the main light and wake you up. Although there was nothing wrong with the facilities, there is only two showers and two toilets in both the male and female wash rooms which may be a problem when it's full in the summer months. As previously mentioned there is no breakfast as such. Although there is transport on your doorstep you are around twenty minutes away from the city centre. Checking in here can be a problem as they're not always at the hostel so you would need to check this if you're arriving outside of office hours. Overall I enjoyed my stay here at a cheap price and would recommend it here if you can put up with some of the negatives I've mentioned.
