Me & MRS Jones

This hotel is exceptional. I have never, ever considered writing a review before but I genuinely believe that the service and quality of our visit needs to be marked. When we first contacted the hotel to make a booking we got talking with Molly and later her mother Brenda, the manager. Both ladies were warm and welcoming. To be honest it felt like we were talking with friends. These ladies enjoy their jobs and want to give their guests an unforgettable experience. That is exactly what my husband and I had....from the moment that we opened our doors to enter our room our mouths hung open in amazement. The huge bed, velvet backing, gigantic bath... Everything oozed luxury and relaxation. We had booked the dinner, bed and breakfast package and when we arrived for dinner we were treated like royalty. As for the food, oh my goodness, I can honestly say that the quality of this food surpassed my hopes. I haven't had such tasty, well cooked food in what feels like forever. Even the breakfast is cooked to order! The Bramble was delicious and the wine choice was extensive. My husband and I had hoped for an enjoyable overnight stay but we made a precious memory that saw us relax in an opulent environment. We were privileged to be greeted and treated as friends. We have already booked our next stay. I cannot recommended Me and Mrs Jones highly enough.

Me & Mrs Jones is an outstanding hotel, right in the heart of Portstewart. It is in a great location and is close to everything in the town centre. The hotel itself is amazing! Each bedroom is individual and uniquely decorated/ furnished to a very high standard. We stayed over at Christmas on Boxing night and had dinner bed and breakfast during our stay. The food was excellent and well presented. The service staff were very hospitable. All of the staff in the hotel are very friendly and accommodating especially Brenda who works at reception. Brenda was delightful to deal with and was able to answer any questions we had in relation to the hotel and surrounding area. She was very helpful. We loved it so much that we are planning another stay before the summer. We can’t wait to go back! ✅

Group of around 20 booked for afternoon tea for a big birthday celebration. Incredible value for money and service was excellent - continually asked if tea / coffee top ups required. Enjoyed the fact there was extra savoury food (even a cup of soup!) compared to other afternoon teas I have been to . All round excellent in a lovely setting ! Highly recommend.

Afternoon tea was absolutely amazing definitely recommend it. The food was fabulous with a great variety of food and good warm hearty pot of tea ( more than one pot of tea in our case lol) to compliment it even more. Had to take some of it home definitely great value for money love the decor of the place too very classy and elegant. The staff were very friendly and attentive made mum and myself feel very welcome and relaxed and a special mention to Brenda who made our visit that extra special massive thank you goes to her. We will be back for afternoon tea again such a great experience!

Wonderfully relaxing stay at Me and Mrs Jones this weekend. Everything was excellent from the location, to the attentive staff (particularly Brenda!), stunning interiors and delicious food. Would highly recommend this for any couple wanting a relaxing break in a beautiful hotel up at the North Coast. Already booked it today before checking out for my daughter and son in law who are Mr and Mrs Jones for a little treat as we enjoyed our weekend so much. Can’t wait to return!

This was our 5th stay at this cute quirky hotel 💖💕 Just love the funky decor and the food and drinks in the bar are always great ! Brenda is so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble . Unfortunately on this visit there was a noticeable shortage of staff which thankfully we only noticed at breakfast with a long wait to get seated as only one young girl was there serving everyone and was obviously stressed but doing her best ! Hope this issue gets resolved before we visit again 🤞🏻
