Quality Inn & Suites Olde Town

Horrible check-in beware! The receptionist didn't even acknowledge me standing at the front desk directly in front of her for a good 3-5 minutes as she continued a call on her personal cell phone. She finally took the confirmation page I had printed out I had set on the counter and began to work on the computer while still talking on the phone and never even greeting me. She finally said something after over 5 minutes of clicking around that the system was not working and thanked me for my patience. After 5 more minutes, she finally asked for my card and ID, but then said she couldn't chew the card to hold for incidentals but that she'd let me get my room card and I could pay that the next time I came to the front desk. I finally got to my room and prepared for bed when she called the room around 10:30 telling me I had to come back to the desk to pay at that time, which required getting redressed to go to the desk. It was a huge inconvenience and her lack of customer service and basic acknowledgement of me throughout the issue was unacceptable.

Nice public areas, friendly, helpful staff. Guest rooms could use an update. Noisy air conditioner. Breakfast decent, coffee not so much.

Not a place to spend time with friends and families. Has a very strong bad smell, people smoking at the front door entrance of the Inn, no bathroom lobby for customers to use while waiting for their turn. This Inn needs a lot of improvement.
